Cozy, bright, yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, library, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, no shower or wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Make it your home base for walking, hiking, biking, boating, fishing, swimming, night sky viewing in the land of 5,000 lakes region. Winter or summer. Smoke free, pet free and children over 12 only. Fibre wifi with download speed of approximately 500 mbps, upload 500 mbps.

The Sugar Shack

Very comfortable & very private cabin, set in the Pine trees. You feel as though you are camping but with all the comforts of a cozy cabin. The lighting system is 12 V. Also has a 12 V. socket for charging phones. Excellent spot to hone your bushcraft skills!! Also an excellent winter get away, cabin is very warm and cozy with the Jotul woodstove for warmth. (must have woodstove experience). We are sorry but we do not allow dogs or cats due to hair allergies.

The Woodland Escape

Step back in time. Experience living in a one room cabin heated by a wood stove and lit by candles and lanterns. Your bathroom is an outhouse. There is no running water or electricity. You can ski, snowshoe or hike on the 40 acre property. Also, within minutes of the cabin are numerous trail systems, lakes and beaches. Poplar Grove Camping Cabin is for those who desire a camping experience with a few comforts of home. “Glamping”. The cabin sits on the edge of a scenic wooded area on our 40 acre property. Our location features a beautiful waterfall, wooded trails and a spectacular starry sky. The property is situated between Kingston and Belleville, 15 minutes north of Napanee, off the 401 highway. Nearby are wineries, hiking trails and the Sandbanks.
