Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Marrakesh-Tensift-El Haouz

The Riad was beautiful and even better than the pictures. It was a perfect location within the Medina and walking distance to most attractions. Alice has done a great job decorating the place. Abdou and Fatima made our stay seamless, easy and special. They made a great spread every morning for breakfast. Abdou was particularly helpful in making restaurant suggestions…Atay Cafe and L’Mida were both great choices.

Inside the old walls of the medina, Baladin is up a quiet alleyway. The soothing waves could be heard. Felix was very welcoming at Baladin, greeting us with mint tea and some delicious sweet sesame delicacies. He showed us around the riad and gave us suggestions for places to eat (one of which we kept going back to - Chez Loubna). The staff are warm and friendly. Essential oils and night lights lightly fragrance the air. The roof terrace was perfect to do my yoga on at sunrise. Glimpses of the ocean. Straw hats and blankets supplied for creature comfort. In December Essaouira is hot by day, and cool by night so the real log fire at breakfast felt super cosy. A hot tub on the ground floor. The room had a kettle, some herbal teas and a hot water bottle! The decor was light, airy, unpretentious and natural - drift wood 4poster bed, white walls, grainy wood, craquelure plaster walls, pots of cacti, opening windows. We got to meet the owner - a very friendly ginger cat called Simba.

We spent 4 days in the Riad. Rachid, Mou and Youssef welcomed us very well. Rachid was able to recommend fabulous places and even took care of booking for us. We also thank Samira and her delicious and varied breakfasts: fruits, homemade yogurt, local breads and pastries, eggs, tea, coffee, fresh orange juice, etc. The Riad and the rooms are beautiful, identical to the photos. It is located a stone's throw from the Place des Ferblantiers and between 5 and 10 minutes from the Place Jeema el Fna. We will be back. 😊

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb. The whole house was ours to enjoy, and it was everything we could have hoped for. The highlight was definitely the four-poster bed, which was so comfortable and offered breathtaking views of the ocean. Waking up to that in the morning was absolutely magical. The house itself was beautifully designed, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway in the Medina. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

A beautiful Riad in a great location in the heart of the medina close to souks, the secret garden and some of the best restaurants. Our room was perfect on the ground floor with a en suite on a mezzanine. It was air conditioned but in May was naturally cool at night. The staff were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this terrace home, super private, everything you need in one space. We love all the wood works and the personal touches to the furniture, such a great style. Very dynamic space, really felt homey, welcoming and that we could relax and enjoy ourselves. Easy to stay in this home and not leave! For what we were looking for it was the perfect location, tucked away to be in our own space. Also local little shops all around, little coffee spots and the beach is nearby. We would come back to Essaouira just to stay here again <3 Nadine was also very responsive, friendly and on the ball with messaging. We were welcomed by Ivy who was delightful and a great person to show us around and help us with anything we needed. The full experience was smooth, easy and exactly what we were looking for :)

The riad was within minutes to Jemma El Fnaa. It was quaint and peaceful. Breakfast was simple yet fulfilling! There was a 2.5euro/pp/per night payable at the Riad. This was informed upon our reservation. Only downside was there was no parking nearby. But then again you can't have everything! 😅 His ham was very hospitalable and tried his best to answer out questions with the help of his translation app! Overall we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!

I cannot give this team enough praise. Property manager Abdo and cook/maid Naima are an excellent team…helpful, communicative and kind. The team arranged the transfer from the airport for a fee and Abdo met us as the home. The location is perfect…in the middle of the Medina but quiet. The design was excellent…high quality European design with gorgeous colors, fabrics and furnishings. The unit has a hammam and massage table on bottom level…incredible…and the team will arrange for your spa treatments! The rooftop pool and deck were a joy to experience the calls to prayer and sunset views over the Medina. Indeed, coming home to this unit was the highlight of the visit to Marrakesh. Thank you for the memories!

Alyson's place was everything we could have hoped for during our time in Marrakesh! Despite being right in the middle of the medina, it was very quiet and felt like an oasis from everything happening outside. Everyone who worked there was lovely and made us feel so welcome to be there. We especially loved the beautiful rooftop terrace and the breakfast every morning. Of note, the ground floor room does not have much of a sound barrier from the courtyard, but for what we wanted out of our stay that wasn't too much of an issue. Overall, a great experience!

We loved our stay in Aziz's riad ! They made us lovely breakfasts every morning which we enjoyed every single time and he even let us leave our luggage after we checked out(we came back for another night though😀) It’s a total win if you are looking for something authentic experience and traditional Moroccan style house and we can’t thank enough for Aziz’s hospitality. Again, we are so lucky to find such an awesome spot in the middle of Medina, hope everything goes well in the future guys!

Not far from the extra city of Essaouira, 15 minutes from the city's airport, the site lost in nature immediately brings a serene and calm atmosphere in a dry and arid environment. And then the soft pool with its deckchairs. No sound, breathtaking views, the softness of the wind sometimes and the simple and warm welcome of Marion and Saïd starts a stay of rest and possible reflections as a couple or alone in the many alcoves and corners spread out in this large handmade house and located 3 hours by flight from Paris or Marseille. The large suite with its traditional adobe fireplace is soft and soothing. Thanks and see you soon. Anita and David P.S. We had a lovely stay at Riad Lumir. It was beautifully decorated and served as a great home base for exploring Essaouria. Mitsou was a kind host and we appreciated her local recommendations.

Our stay in the Medina was very exciting. But what made our experience far beyond perfect was Bahia and Fatima. They accommodated you in everything they can. The Riad is a short walk to the car pick up. Marrakech has our hearts.

I recommend it! Great welcome Mary and Frank take the time to make sure everything goes well and give us advice. Very clean accommodation and although there is no air conditioning the accommodation remains rather cool (you have a fan available if ever). The riad staff are all very kind and contribute to the quality of the place. Finally, the neighborhood is a little poor but is not so badly located and you do not have to fear insecurity.

Wow! What a beautiful place to stay - the Riad is like something from a fairy tale... There is a big courtyard where we could take meals, a lovely little pool and so many rooms and places to explore. Also, some very friendly cats to hang out with! Our room was so nice and it was serviced quickly every day. It was a little bit of a walk from the main part of the old city, but we liked that - it was quiet and away from the busy part of town. That said, there was loads of the local shops and life to see just outside the door. So overall, highly recommended and a lovely place to stay!

We loved the place and the location. Very easy to get everywhere, very easy to find. The staff was really great and they helped us with all we needed.

Halime greeted us each morning with a warm smile and a breakfast that felt like it was made by a loving mother — fresh, delicious, and full of care. Her kindness set the tone for the day. Jan and El-Hossein were incredibly attentive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They were gracious, warm, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We left with full hearts, grateful for the generosity and spirit of this place. We can’t recommend it enough — not just the Riad, but the entire area. It’s a gem worth discovering.

This place was great and we loved it!!! The rooftop was amazing and Aicha was a gracious housekeeper, very accommodating and attentive, and her food was to die for! She made our stay perfect with her caring nature. We were two families of four and it was the perfect place for us to stay.

Julie was very responsive, we were late because of the bus and she was very understanding. Thanks to Cherif on site who picked us up from the bus station so we were not lost. It is an ideal location to be able to get around Marrakesh. Plus, the riad is beautiful!

Peaceful riad that allows you to recharge after the bustle of the medina. It is easy to access and easy to find... Very welcoming and attentive staff who allowed us to drop off our luggage while waiting for our room to continue our visits.

I had such a good time at Youssef and his wife’s house! They are very welcoming, friendly and communicative via message. From the taxi drop off, it will be a 5min walk in small streets to access the house. Easy if you don’t carry too much. Otherwise people can help you if you give them a bit of $. I highly recommend for a peaceful and typical stay, well situated but calm at the same time. Also adding they have a beautiful terrace. 100% worth it
