Situated in the unique position of having it’s feet in Gunnerside Ghyll, totally detached and in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Debra Cottage abounds with character. Every room is a delight of bespoke joinery and high quality fittings. Built in 1793 and in the centre of Gunnerside Village, this cottage is an ideal base to explore and enjoy all the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. The sound of the river welcomes you as you step though the front door, but all is tranquil inside.

Enjoy amazing views, fabulous walks, drives and cycle routes on your doorstep where Hawes has been a long time favourite for people visiting the Dales. A quick shower after your day out walking and you are minutes away from lots of places to eat, drink and lovely shops.

Foxup House Barn

Foxup House Barn is a converted one bedroom farm building, totally self-contained to the side of our house. It has it's own entrance with private parking space for one vehicle and private walled and fenced garden. It is situated at the end of a no-through road, totally surrounded by hills with stunning views from every window. Newly converted in 2023 we have put much thought and love into the project, aiming to create a warm, comfortable and stylish space, finished to a high standard.

The Hut in The Wood is a beautifully appointed shepherds hut nestled alone in our pretty 1 acre woodland garden in Askrigg, Wensleydale. The hut has king size bed, table and chairs, kitchen area, log burner and outside patio table and chairs, firepit, garden. Heated Shower room with wc and basin for your exclusive use 100m along the garden path.

Literally a stone’s throw from the famous waterfalls of Gayle Beck and a few minutes walk from Hawes’ historic Market Square with its numerous shops, cafes and pubs, ‘The Shop on the Bridge’ is an ideal bolthole for a mini break away from it all.

Thorneymire Cabin

A luxury wood cabin situated in 3 acres of private ancient woodland. The cabin has been hand crafted using reclaimed materials from an old mill in Chester and is fully insulated. Experience the peace and tranquillity, watch the stars through the star gazing window; enjoy the views across Widdale Beck to the fells beyond and delight in watching red squirrels in nearby trees. Sorry, no dogs – to protect our ancient woodland and the endangered red squirrels who live here.
