Great place to stay for a few days in Ludington! It was within 15 minutes of walking downtown and right across from Stearns Beach. We loved watching the sunset every night.

Great area of town, walkable to beach and restaurants.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect amount of space and the outdoor amenities were great. We had bonfires in the evenings and made wonderful memories.

Our room looked exactly like the pictures. Being one block away from the beach was amazing. The heated pool was a great benefit as well since the weather wasn’t super warm during our stay. The location can’t be beat. Close to the beach and walkable to town and the marina.

Perfect fit for us. Beach & Park across the street. Walked to town for dinner @ Hamlin Restaurant, only place to eat on Sunday evening, exceptional food. Early in May 2025 cool winds but a sunny 2 days. Got a super picture of the sunset across the street from our room. Chairs outside our room, benches & picnic tables to enjoy the outdoors, friendly people walking & look @ the stars on a clear night.

Love Ludington. it is my go to for a quick getaway. Was glad to find this place so close to the lake on such a short notice. Thank you Ben

Great location. Within walking distance to the beach and downtown.

This was a solo trip for me, so I was looking for something close to the beach (which is right across the street) as well as being in walking/biking distances to downtown. The room had all the basic amenities that I needed. The room was perfect - not too big or too small. It gave me the beach vibe and after a long day of being out when I walked into the room it was always so bright, vibrant, and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom even though it is small - the shower was nice. I would definitely stay here again and maybe stay in a bigger unit.

If you’re looking to get away from it all, this is the perfect opportunity. This cottage will allow you to enjoy a no stress vacation. We had 7 over 60 women in in our group. It is a large place with tons of beds. All stairs had railings on them. Bathrooms did not have railings which made it difficult for some of us. Also there was no outside lighting which made it difficult for some of us. The lake was nice to swim in and the large umbrella near the beach was very nice to have. We enjoyed a beautiful campfire. Al in all it’s a perfect place for a vacation but might need a few tweaks for seniors 😀

We had a such a fun weekend hanging at this house with our large group! The house, view, and location exceeded our expectations. Very clean and had everything we needed. Aaron was very responsive and helpful with any and all questions! I highly recommend this house and area for any occasion!

David’s rental was the perfect place for our yearly family vacation, consisting of 7 adults and 3 children. The house was as described. It was very clean, and everything was in excellent condition. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals. I especially liked how large the fridge was. Three bathrooms were great to have with a large group. We spent a lot of time at the beach, playing and canoeing. Whenever I had a question, David answered promptly. He even offered to mail something to me that was left behind when we left. I could tell David and his wife took pride in their house. If you’re thinking of renting there, don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it!

We had an absolute blast staying at "In The Woods"! It exceeded all our expectations—honestly, the pictures don’t quite capture how amazing it is. The property offered perfect privacy, and both the interior and exterior were fantastic. Just a quick heads-up for anyone towing a trailer: the dirt roads leading in can be a bit bumpy and slow. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.

Thank you for letting us stay at the beautiful Lake House! There were so many nice and thoughtful little touches throughout every room that made the house feel like a home away from home. We had a wonderful time for our girls weekend getaway and hope to one day stay at this house again!

Beautiful home in a convenient location in Ludington with ample parking and amenities. The host is extremely responsive and helped us replace a hot water heater almost immediately when we reported a problem. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Excellent stay for our family. We try to visit family in Ludington on the Fourth of July every so often and this was a wonderful location. Rachel and the co-hosts were very responsive. Our family had a wonderful stay and from our experience in the area I can say that it was good value as well as Ludington gets very over priced and crowded on the Fourth of July, whereas Hamlin is more peaceful and comfortable. The condo was spacious and nicely furnished. It’s a little hard to get a three level to be the most comfortable temperature for everyone but that is just a problem for any three level structure. Plenty of kayaks and paddle boards for amusement and the teepee with the fire pit was nice as well. We would happily stay again if they would have us.

Ludington Explorer was very comfortable, clean, and located in a beautiful location. We enjoyed watching the Badger go out from the living room windows and balcony, and the views of the marina. The hosts have thought of everything. There was a Keurig with k-cups, beach chairs and towels for guest use, and lots of other little details. The unit was as pictured and described. We had a great time. Would stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this place! The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Everything was super simple with the check-in and the place was just as advertised with beautiful views of the water and the Badger. We have already asked if we could come back another time next summer! Easy walk to the lake and downtown. We loved it!

We loved our stay!! Melissa came to meet us and was so kind. Communication was amazing! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I grew up going to Ludington in the summer and this was our first time staying at Lakeside. We will definitely stay there again. Wonderful location with walkable distance to several restaurants, parks/playgrounds, beach and several other activities!!

Melissa was easy to work with, toured us thru the condo on arrival (helpful) and friendly. Condo had a beautiful view and very walkable to just about everything. Would recommend to others and definitely stay again if in the area.

Easy registration; unit as simple to enter as home; host and co-hosts friendly and neighborly; unit as shown if not better; well stocked for preparing and cooking; nice beds and bathrooms; wood floors throughout; nice windows with lake view; nice and serene grounds with best kayak launch I have ever seen - anyone could get in and kayak - seriously. I would easily recommend to a friend without reservation.

This is a delightful place to stay. The condo was clean, quiet, and the porch was lovely with direct views of the Badger ferry, the children's playground, and sculpture park right below us! Melissa and team did a great job walking us through garage and door access, and garbage removal. Every amenity was provided; from soap and shampoo to garbage bags and tin foil! Melissa made several suggestions for places to eat and it was great every time. I definitely recommend this condo!
