Fantastic place to stay for the weekend. Warm house. Excellently furnished, equipped kitchen.

We had a great stay at Jo’s place. The house is older but comfortable and warm with everything we neededThe location was perfect for our golf trip and only 5 minutes from the centre.

We were a party of 7 friends who go away every year for a get together as we are spread from Auckland to Christchurch and inbetween. we all had the most fabulous stay, great home, the pool and spa were amazing 👏 just an all round awesome girls weekend. thank you so much Laureen.

we really enjoyed our time at the house, it had everything we needed for a relaxing night, especially the pool as it was a very warm day. a short drive to Masterson for supplies but a great spot to stargaze without light pollution. loved it, thank you Sarah ☺️

It was a great place to meet up with family from Wellington. We all enjoyed the space, and everything we needed was there.

We had a fantastic time staying in this stunning home. The location is ideal - in the country in beautiful surrounds, but only a short drive to Masterton/Carterton. The kids had a blast feeding the animals, exploring the pond and we all loved the pool. We took our bikes and loved cruising around the country lanes. The house had everything we needed and more for a relaxing country retreat. I would highly recommend this beautiful home.

We had an exceptional family holiday here over Christmas. An extended family, with babies and elderly, all enjoyed themselves tremendously. We counted 22 bird species seen from the deck. The views of the Tararuas are great. The house is excellent, fully equipped with all the cooking gear needed. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Another reviewer has said if they could give it 10 stars instead of 5 they would have ! I completely agree. My wife and I were blown away with the spaciousness and the well equipped facilities of this beautiful home. The setting was just so beautiful, peaceful and quiet yet not too far away from the Masterton. It was extremely refreshing just to come home and relax. We had flown in from Australia to attend a family funeral of a very close relative so it was a challenging time ….but John and Robyn went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel at home, Robyn had even baked a beautiful zucchini cake for us which was thoroughly enjoyed along with a basket of goodies for our welcome. It may not have been a ‘holiday’ for us but without a doubt we were so beautifully looked after ! Thank you John and Robyn. The home was lovely, the price was wonderful for shared guests, the setting was perfect and your home is a ‘must do’ for a holiday here ! I simply cannot recommend it enough !

Lovely place in a peaceful and quiet spot in Masterton. Very private, yet still close enough to amenities should you wish to go out and explore. Immaculately clean, luxurious, warm, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Jo is a friendly and gracious host — she knew we were arriving at night and left the gate, lights, and heat pump on for us so that checking in was a breeze. She offered a late checkout too! Thanks for a lovely stay, Jo!

A perfect stay for us…very homely! Jim was very friendly and responsive. Very clear instructions! We loved the space and everything was very comfortable and clean! They have thought of everything for the comfort of their guests! Lots of little extras that makes an Airbnb special and our preference over a motel. The bed was comfortable which is a must for us! Spacious outside area which we would have loved to make better use of…next time! Very close to shops, gym, cafes, restaurants and walks. Really can’t fault this place and we shall be returning. Thank you! 🙏

The house blew us away - even better than the photos! It's filled with hidden treasures we kept discovering throughout our stay. We couldn't stop marveling at its beauty as we explored. It's impeccably decorated to match its historic charm. The instructions provided were clear, and we had everything we needed. While we enjoyed exploring nearby towns like Greytown and visiting the Martinborough wineries, we were always eager to return and enjoy the house to the fullest. Thank you for sharing your home with us; it was a memorable experience we'll cherish forever. We hope to return someday!

Convenient location for us with everything we needed. Great having heat pumps in the bedrooms.

Riversdale is a beautiful place, the beach and golf course were both amazing! Only thing was there were no council rubbish bags to use for the rubbish so we decided to take the rubbish with us in the car. Overall a great place to stay and would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It's a short drive to Queen Elizabeth Park and the rec centre and other fun Masterton activities. Everything was nice and clean and new.

Our family of two parents, two children and two grandparents loved the house. It was clean, spacious and contemporary, very comfortable beds, and with books, toys and games for us to enjoy, it had everything we needed to have a great Easter break. The packet of hot cross buns and butter waiting for us was much appreciated. We would love to go again. Highly recommended.

Anna and Sam’s place was stunning and even better than the pictures! The house is spotlessly clean with everything you need, beautiful quality and extremely comfortable. The fire was gorgeous and they left it stacked and ready to go and a bottle of Pinot which was a lovely touch. We met Anna’s parents on the driveway who live next door and they were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect you can walk to town but feel remote looking out across fields to the Tararuas with beautiful starry nights. I enjoyed a very comfortable sleep with absolutely quiet and darkness…bliss! I don’t think I would want to stay anywhere else in Greytown highly recommend!

Such a lovely place, you can tell a lot of love and thought has been put into the place. It was comfortable, warm, great location. We got a little caught out assuming would be tea/coffee supplies but it wasn’t an issue popping down to the shop to get it.

Sofies place was perfect for our stay at Masterton. It was super clean and the communication was excellent. Check-in for our stay was also flexible which worked really well perfect for our situation. Would happily stay again.

Great wee spot for a few folks to stay. We stayed a night after a wedding nearby. Great place to crash and relax; we greatly appreciated the 11am checkout! Would stay again if we were in the area. Thanks again.

Amazing stay and amazing weekend! Comfy beds, perfect spot to the beach, golf club and shop. Added bonus of a coffee machine and to top it all off we even got to bring the dog. We’ll be back. Thanks so much.
