Our stay at basant hritu homestay was excellent . The stunning views from the terrace were breathtaking, and the cozy, well-appointed rooms provided the perfect comfort after a day of exploringIt’s ... The staff were always attentive and eager to assist with any requests also host was incredibly friendly.. We especially love the delicious home-cooked meals, featuring fresh local produce prepared by Menaka didi !! it was a highlight of our experience .. the room is very clean and comfortable .. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful and authentic mountain getaway!!

The lovely cottage is a mere 15 minute drive away from Main Bazaar. Although my family and I stayed here for only one night, we had a very fulfilling experience. Anurag and family are warm, welcoming and great conversationalists. They had arranged a local taxi for us - this helped us in finishing the sightseeing within our limited timeframe. And of course, the food prepared by Auntie is exceptionally good. It is organic and locally sourced. We would love to come back and visit again!

I am short of words to describe about my experience. Whatever I say it will be less to appreciate Yukta's homestay. From the very beginning I was always guided by Yukta so that I reach there. From main road Yukta took me to the homestay. There I was mesmerized by seeing the beauty of it's surrounding. Daily one can see plenty of beautiful birds who come to visit the garden. Two cute dogs and one cat made my vacation more significant. With help of Yukta I went to Deolo and could do paragliding for 1st time in my life. The food prepared by aunty (Yukta's mommy) was really delicious. Also Yukta's little brother Yuvraj is a great person to interact with. His knowledge about the birds and other surroundings is really great. In one word Adhya Homestay is a Heaven. Will always go there whenever I visit Kalimpong.

Kalimpong Village Retreat, tucked in Kalimpong's serene Iche village, is a hidden haven run by the warm and attentive Siddharth and Suprina. The retreat, reached by a gentle walk past paddy fields, is surrounded by colorful marigolds, azaleas, and a bountiful garden of bananas, avocados, turmeric, and more. Meals here are authentic and flavorful, made with locally sourced ingredients, from Sel Roti to tree tomato chutney—Nepali cuisine at its finest. Siddharth and Suprina's care, alongside their hardworking neighbor, Anita (“Bhauju”), makes every moment feel like home. Adding charm is Brownie, their lovable dog, who becomes an instant friend. Siddharth’s close-knit community ties ensure all needs are met, from evening transport to local recommendations, despite the secluded setting. For anyone seeking an escape from city life, Kalimpong Village Retreat offers a soulful, peaceful stay with heartfelt hospitality. I left rejuvenated, grateful, and eager to return to this special place.

It was a superb experience! The room was great! There is a shared balcony with sitting arrangements behind the room, with a breathtaking view of Kanchonjungha mountain range. There was also a shared living space with a kitchenette. But the main thing for us was the hospitality of the hosts. Abhishek gave us very clear instructions on how to reach the place, which was really helpful. Rakesh and his wife greeted us warmly and gave much needed local recommendations. But the last but not the least thing was the dinner they provided. We had the chicken thali and it was so delicious! I was a little upset of not finding good food around the hill towns, and that meal just made me smile. The location is also good. Brisk 5-7 mins walk from the main bazaar, from where you will get everything. Overall, it was an awesome experience!

The host Mr Leon 🚵 went above and beyond with their kindness 💗 starting with a surprise Peach 🍑 Wine on my birthday, and then another lovely surprise at checkout: a beautiful set of incense sticks that I absolutely loved.🥺 It's rare to find such a thoughtful and welcoming host.🫰 Special thanks to Mr. Prasan 🤓 the manager, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the stay 😃 he made everything even smoother and more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, charm, and a truly memorable experience! 💝

A truly exceptional stay. The property was well-equipped, impeccably clean, and offered a breathtaking 10/10 view — we could even see Kanchenjunga from both the living room and bedroom. We enjoyed cooking meals, listening to music, and relaxing with wine. A special thanks to Prasan, the caretaker, who was incredibly helpful and kind. Highly recommended for a peaceful, scenic getaway.
