I created this accommodation because I wish there was a place like this. ☆This is not a hotel. We want you to think about how you want to spend your time. On sunny days, enjoy morning coffee on the large wooden deck. In the cold winter, warm up with a wood stove, and make and eat a delicious meal yourself. Play your favorite music, and read surrounded by books lining the walls. Take a walk to Gero Station while catching a glimpse of life in Gero. Fishing at sea, picking azaleas, bamboo shoots, and wild potatoes in the mountains, and eating them yourself. Long stays are recommended. Based at Shimonada Cabin, it is about an hour's drive to Matsuyama City. 2.5 hours to Shimanto River. 3 hours to Shikoku Karst. Shopping can be done in Iyo City or Nagahama Town, or you can buy from local fishmongers and greengrocers and cook for yourself. Of course, you can also eat at a nearby restaurant if you book. Anyway, I want you to relax at Shimonada Cabin. One night is too wasteful. I recommend at least 2 days. It is a place that can be enjoyed in good weather or bad.

Less than a 10-minute drive from the center of Shimanto City, Kochi Prefecture, a 128-year-old Japanese house has been renovated as an inn in Arakawa, a lush green area, with the concept of "a space that is both ordinary and extraordinary". It retains the charm of a traditional farmhouse while adding modern comforts. We provide a space where visitors can forget about time and relax from the heart. If you walk a little up from the inn, you can see the Tosa Kuroshio Railway Nakamura Line and the Sukumo Line from the bridge. A house in the middle of a forest. Enjoy mountain life in one of the few magnificent old houses built by Miyadaiku. At the house at the end of a fairytale forest road, you can BBQ, make a fire, boil a Goemon bath, and enjoy natural play that can only be experienced in the mountains. There are no street lights, and at night you can see the starry sky. Spending time feeling the mountain with all your senses, which can be seen in different ways depending on the season, reminds you of the rich, peaceful time that has been forgotten in modern times. Centered on a magnificent large pillar, it is an old house with earthen walls and built-in storage, but the first floor is covered with pure cedar boards, giving it a new feel. The water area features a newly built island kitchen and a large wash basin. The bath is a Goemon bath that uses both wood and gas, so you can cook with wood or use hot water. Outside the house, there is a friendly sign cat named Aosuke, who will come up to you if you are outside. It is located about 15 minutes by car from the Ishikari Mountain ropeway, making it easy to get to the mountains.

20 mins walk from Shimonada Station.3 minutes by car. We will provide free pick-up and drop-off by car. It is a 13-minute walk from Kushigahara Station. It is a house with the sea in front of it, behind the Shiojiro restaurant, and a convenience store is 30 seconds away on foot. Of course, the whole house is rented.It can accommodate up to 6 people. The sea is beautiful, and the mountains are also beautiful in Shimonada. There is a small private beach in front of the house.I think those who love nature will enjoy it. The building is a renovation of an old house in the countryside. Long edges, a large tatami room, and spaces where you can feel the past, such as a kamado and a firewood bath, give a feeling of nostalgia. As far as the eye can see, there is also a wooden deck that can be used with confidence even in rainy weather in the courtyard, which is an overwhelming private space with only mountains, fields and slopes. Parking is available. Wi-Fi is available. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to the nearest supermarket and convenience store, so please prepare ingredients in advance when you arrive.
