In the countryside of Tuscany La Gegia Matta is the guest house of Villa Ruschi, a magnificent eighteenth-century property characterised by the typical Tuscan style. It is located in the centre of Calci, in Val Graziosa and is easily reached both by car and motorcycle. Nearby you will find restaurants, wine bars, groceries and you can also visit the beautiful Certosa di Calci. It is 10 minutes from Pisa, 20 minutes from Lucca , 1 hour from Florence and 20 minutes from the beaches of the Tyrrhenian coast.

Ours is a small house with a separate entrance 150 meters from the beach and a few steps from the Mazzanta pine forest, a small seaside resort between Vada and Cecina Marina, with an outdoor area for outdoor lunches and dinners, ideal for adults, children and four-legged friends. The open kitchen is brand new and equipped with a microwave, the living room has a double sofa bed. The double bedroom has a small bed and a small outdoor space at the back. The bathroom has a shower and washing machine.

IL COLLE DI FALTUGNANO: immersed in an olive grove on a Tuscan hills and with an amazing view of the valley, the stone cottage has been remarkably recovered a few months ago, a caravanserai a few century ago. In a strategic position close to Florence and Mugello is a good base for exploring Tuscany and be independent at the same time with supermarkets and restaurants just a few minutes away. Close to a farmhouse you can buy fresh local organic ingredients such as bio vegetables, eggs or cheese.
