Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Mecosta County

Shelby’s place was outstanding. She does a really good job of having very thoughtful amenities - more than i found at most air bnbs! The appliances, pots and pans and dishes were nice and pretty much brand new - there was cookies waiting for our dog, water cooler, fluffy towels (and lots of them), comfy throw blankets, toiletries, phone charger - TVs, cofeee and more . She put a lot of thoughtful touches around the house and makes for a very pleasant experience. The place was nicer than the photos showed, and while it doesn’t have air conditioning throughout, the ground floor unit does have a window unit and it worked just fine for our stay. She has fans throughout as well, and if you need something, just ask. I found her to be extremely responsive, friendly and super helpful. We came to ride moutnain bikes st dragon trail and the location was great - only 12 min from the trailhead. There’s lots of local resturants nearby - the area is pretty quiet overall and the neighbors are nice

A great little place on the river! The house was located on a river bend. While the house was tucked in between a couple of other houses, the area felt private enough. The volleyball net out front, and fire pit out back were perfect for a weekend getaway. While it was too cold to take the kayaks out, we still managed to spend most of our time outdoors, admiring everything nature had to offer out there!

We had the best stay ever!! Slept great! Brilliantly located! Enormously spacious! Pool table in the basement. Plenty of windows and sunlight. Deer. Golf course. Peace. Stocked kitchen and coffee machine. What more could you want? Already looking forward to next year!!

What a beautiful home and property! Our group enjoyed the amazing views, wildlife and the serenity of the Little Muskegon River flowing in the back. Check in/out was a breeze and Whitney was easy and quick to repond with. She made sure we were all set and if we needed anything, along with guidance on the 3hr kayak trip into town. Would definitely book again.

Our family had a great time staying at Floyds property for our family Christmas. Floyd had the house set up with Christmas decorations and music playing upon our arrival. He ensured we had enough seating at the dining room table and the supplies we needed for our group as we had discussed those things prior. Floyd was very responsive and helpful through the whole process and we would be more then happy to return to this property for another vacation. Grey, the cat, was a great addition to our stay and my teen daughter loved having her company through our stay.

Long weekend away This is our second stay and we loved it! This time we brought our fur babies and they loved it too. It’s a peaceful and serene area. House is very well stocked in case you may forget something.

Great Location with a nice view. went for a weekend getaway with the fam and every one was very happy and enjoyed the stay. The house was very spacious and clean. The host was very responsive and helpful. Def would book again!

We absolutely loved staying at Canadian Lakes cottage. It was beautiful, practical; full of everything we needed. We never went w/o. The surroundings were so beautiful and full of so much to do. Whether you need to relax or be all in for water activities, this is your place. We absolutely appreciate the host of the cottage and their home. We are grateful.

Nicole’s place was very nice and perfect for our group of five adults and a toddler. We enjoyed our time there and would book it again in the future.

Loved staying at the campground in the cabin instead of a tent as we usually do. Set up was quick and easy since we only needed to make the beds and put the table cloth on the picnic table. Gyorgy and the staff are delightful and provide great recommendations for food! This campground also has rentals for floating down the river, kayaking, and canoeing. Our kids enjoyed the arcade and goodies in the general store. The pool was salt water, which the family enjoyed. The facilities are centrally located with a short walk and they are very clean. I highly recommend staying at this cabin!

Great stay! Place was easy to find, peaceful, clean and comfortable. Fun for the whole family. I would definitely recommend to others.

The house looked just as pictured. Even though you are close to other houses, it’s so comfortable that you don’t even notice and it wasn’t an issue. Everything was clean and worked as described. Alan explained everything thoroughly. We had an amazing weekend at the lake! We brought our own float that we blew up and tied to the dock and had the best time ever!

Host was very responsive to questions/needs as they came up. Was very accurate with description on property. Definitely would consider staying here again.

Comfortable cabin in private campground. Cabin is pretty bare bones, but was exactly what we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer but will be back with the kids again to enjoy the park 😊

Our stay at Frank's place could not have been more comfortable or relaxing. The inside was super clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for the week. We liked the spacious, open living/dining/kitchen area, nice furniture, and comfortable beds. But we especially enjoyed the large front deck, huge umbrella that kept us shaded, pocket views of the lake, grill/griddle combo, outdoor shower, and having the pickleball courts a short walk away. Frank is a super friendly and very responsive host. He genuinely wanted to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay, which we did! We look for to renting from him again next year for 2 weeks! Thanks for everything, Frank!

The staff was more wonderful than we could’ve ever hoped. The shower was nice and so was the bed honestly everything was nice I would definitely recommend
