Cottage in Hallaton- Beautiful walks + Lovely pubs

AliRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had such a lovely couple of days at George's place in Hallaton, a really peaceful reset. The cottage itself had everything we needed, the kitchen was well-equipped, cooked a dinner no problem, like home from home, even a cheese grater in the cupboard! Lovely living area, the bedroom on the top floor has a very low ceiling as it's in the attic, there is no standing room up there at all, but fine for sleeping in. The village is very quaint and picturesque, we found several walk guides online for all abilities. There are a couple of pubs, and a very recently opened cafe. However, there are no shops at all, so make sure you pick up provisions on the way, such as milk, bread, cereal etc. (Tea bags & coffee are provided.) George himself was a great host, very quick to respond to messages, it was very easy to sort out getting in to the cottage, and he was knowledgeable of the area, recommending local pubs etc. (We drove 7 mins to The Wheel & Compass and enjoyed a lovely meal there.)

Lovely hosts who are communicative and helpful. The Airbnb is a lovely place to stay, with a very spacious living room and a lovely balcony. The bed is comfy, and the bathroom is great. A lovely kitchen too, which had lots of coffee and milk/water etc stocked. Would happily come back again!

Entire Private Guest Suite with Kitchen and Lounge

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed here as a base to visit family so probably didn’t use the apartment as much as we may have. The apartment was bigger than we expected with a large utility area that included shelving and cabinets. Also, a hidden gem was the en suite toilet in addition to the main bathroom. Can recommend this quiet and comfortable apartment. Our Mobile Provider reception was patchy but the owner left instructions for internet access in easy reach.
