Holiday rentals with lake access in Medina County

We loved our stay at Portage Lakes. Johnny is a great host. The house is clean, cozy, and in a perfect setting on the lake. My family especially enjoyed the kayaks! Highly recommend!!

We travel often as a homeschooling family. My 9 year old picked Cleveland and Brian’s Airbnb as her birthday trip. Unfortunately, the night before our check in, there were some issues at Brian’s Airbnb with plumbing — but fortunately, he is an incredible host and person and let us know he was moving us to another beautiful location. “Above and beyond” is an understatement. He even sent my daughter donuts for her birthday. Brian was kind, responsive, honest and helpful. We all fell in love with Cleveland and will recommend Brian’s properties to everyone we know. Highly recommend this host!

The house was perfect for our Christmas Eve celebration. The house was beautifully decorated. Many supplies available. Robert was very responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely stay again!

This was my first time staying in an Airbnb and it was better than I could imagine. Deedee’s home was cozy and eclectic, my bed was so comfy, and it was super clean. Everyone had plenty of space for themselves. The roof deck was wonderful with all the birds chirping and the view of Lake Eerie. Thank you , Deedee, for being a fantastic host and letting us enjoy your lovely home!

The property was very comfortable, roomy, extremely clean and had lots of amenities. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Our stay was great! The house is right on a very quiet and private lake. The yard is a good size and there's a lot of pace to hangout. Inside was a bit smaller, the kitchen table only sat 3 comfortably but there was plenty of seating in the living room.

My mom and I had a wonderful stay! The home was exactly as described. It was well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. We especially appreciated the convenient on-site parking. The space itself was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up for guests. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Everything about the property was beautiful. Comfortable beds. Welcoming living room. Amazing dining room view! Having lakeside access was so amazing and memorable. Peaceful sunrises with a cup of coffee. The host was quick to respond and was very helpful and understanding, especially when reaching out quickly before we left town that we had left behind some items. They arranged it so we could retrieve it quickly. Would definitely stay again

Tyler’s place was absolutely great! We were in town with our 1 year old and in laws and it was plenty of space for all of us. Walkable to much of Ohio City and very close to the airport, downtown, Zoo. It was very clean and Tyler was always responsive! We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time and the location could not have been better. They have everything you could need in the house and the shed is full of beach toys, chairs, wagons, fishing poles, literally anything you could think you may need on a beach vacation. Beach was just a few houses down and we went every morning and evening. House was the perfect size for our family of six. Patio tavern across the street from the neighborhood had music on the weekend you could sit outside and listen to but couldn’t hear inside the house so it was perfect. We hope to be able to stay again next time we’re in town! Highly recommend.

I appreciate his flexibility when I told him my situation. He was a great host, and the place was a great spot for a get together to celebrate my friend's achievement.

The place was very clean and renovated nicely. There was a water main break down the street so we had no water at no fault of the host. The host was very responsive and asked if she could provide us with bottled water. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Can't be at the value of this place with 3 bedrooms and a nice size living room and dining room.

Judy's place might not be in the heart of Ohio City, but don't let that affect your stay. The neighborhood is great and the houses are grand and the cafes and bars are plentiful. Try Astoria is a few blocks away. The house is advertised. She keeps it minimal and the furniture is basic but functional. You won't end up sneaking off with a coffee table or a lamp. The house is clean and stocked with everything you will need. The shower is the best place in the house--you'll tell your friends and family about the pressure and the tub.

This was perfect. Beautiful space with attention to detail and a super accessible and communicative host. It doesn't get any better!

My wife and I plan to book a long weekend this summer bring the Kayaks and check out the gorgeous lake.

Wow! What a week we had! We stayed here while our son was at hockey camp in Bowling Green, OH. It was only about an hour from BG and we could not be more pleased! The check in was super easy! We walked in and felt right at home! The location is perfect! Easy to get to shopping and food and the setting was absolutely beautiful!! We could not have asked for a better stay! We plan to return for next year when our son is at hockey camp!

It was so peaceful sitting outside or inside looking out at the lake. We saw baby ducks and even a bald eagle! The stairs are narrow but not a major issue for us, figured it was worth mentioning in case someone has trouble with stairs. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. the host was always responsive and super friendly.

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay for a short getaway. Easy drive to restaurants and national park, and nice clean amenities to relax in the evening. Evan was responsive to questions as they arose. Had no issues while there.

Highly recommend!!! I booked Tim and Melissa’s place as an anniversary get away for my parents. They couldn’t say enough great things about their experience and hope to return someday. The lake house had everything you could want and more. Thanks again for making things wonderful for them❤️

The air b and b was extremely beautiful. The view of the lake is phenomenal! You get your own little private beach/lake and they have a fire set up, they have a park for kids it’s small but will keep them plenty busy. The location has the best view ever. The house was very clean and everything felt at home except on an amazing vacation. I HIGHLY recommend couples, or family friendly

This place was “ home” away from home! The views of the lake were beyond our expectations! Cottage was squeaky clean and very comfy ! Only thing I would suggest is some grill utensils to cook with that are metal! Everything else was perfect! Bring your own food and coffee and your set!
