Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Megalong Valley

Convient location just couple minutes drove to the ironic Govetts Leap Lookout as well as to the town centre. Loved the tranquil surroundings and the beautifully maintained garden at the front of the house. We enjoyed the place and it really made us feel at home. Thanks for hosting us:)

A stunning home, full of charm, style and uniqueness. This was one of our best airbnb experiences. The property is clearly loved by the owners. We enjoyed the personal touches, the comfort and the home's architectural features. We enjoyed sitting in front of the sofa, fire cranking and views to a garden of established trees and shrubs. We hope to come back soon.

Great, peaceful spot for a couple's getaway, in a secluded and quite remote part of Mt Vic. The living space is large and light-filled, with a super well-equipped kitchen and beautiful furnishing. The gas heating works really well and there's a well-supplied fire place. Note there's no wifi or TV, so bring a book (although there are boardgames!). The drop toilet seems to work well and unobtrusive (we barely noticed the difference), and we found the tank water completely fine – there's a bit of a brown tinge if you run a bath, but that's just leaf tannins. The bedroom is perfectly serviceable, although a bit bare compared to the rest of the house, and do note that the bed is only a double.

Bettina is an amazing host! And her place is super cozy, warm and feels like a home. The house had everything we needed for some days at the Blue Mountains. Please stay there!

Margaret is a very kind and responsive Host. The Home is tranquil, safe and just what we were looking for. We can't wait to visit again and experience a break from the hustle and bustle. Don't forget the comfy slippers for relaxing by the fire.

Great location, right on the main street. I was staying for work. It was ideal.

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely two night stay at Anna's place. This lovely spot is situated within just minutes of walking distance to some incredible dining and bars. So quick and easy to wander off on foot to check out the local shops and cafes without any hassles. Anna had arranged ahead of time for our expectated arrival and had the heating and lights on ready and waiting for us! The texted instructions and fair lit up walkways was a spectacular sight on arrival. There were also so many small welcoming touches that made it just fabulous from the hand written note, to the fresh fruit biscuits, chocolates and flowers and essentials like English muffins and milk! The space is cozy and so well laid out and furnished with a very much at home vibe. We would absolutely stay again! Anna is a fabulously friendly and welcoming host and the place is so cozy and cared for!

Medlow Bath is a fantastic, peaceful location near to Leura, Katoomba and Blackheath. Denise was a wonderful host and provided us with many recommendations for the area. The space was quiet and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent location surrounded by many restaurants and cafes a short walk from the apartment. The apartment itself is very comfortable with all the mod cons and tastefully decorated. Our favourite aspect of the apartment was the log fire heater and the heated bathroom floors. Also the main bedroom was very private and quiet from the rest of the apartment. Hosts are super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

It's a good place to stay for a break. Quiet, clean, and well located, close to the town and other facilities. Overall, everything was of a high standard. We will definitely come again next time we visit the Blue Mountains / Katamboo area.

We had the most lovely stay at Heidi & Luke’s. The place was beautiful, clean and looked just like the photos. The hosts were responsive and sent clear instructions for a smooth check-in and check-out. The views are breathtaking. Among the six of us we agreed it was the best Airbnb we’d all ever stayed in! We had an amazing weekend at Dadirri Retreat. Simon was a fantastic host, very accomodating and responsive. The house is absolutely gorgeous wth three separate pavilions, one with the kitchen and lounge/dining areas with spectacular views, one which is a master suite with an amazing huge bathtub looking out over the trees, and the third is adjacent to the pool, with a bedroom, large bathroom and the sauna, by far the best sauna I have seen in an Airbnb. Although the weather was patchy, time in the sauna followed by a dip in the mineral pool was a lovely way to spend the day in total quiet and privacy. There are lots of great outdoor spots for relaxing and the kitchen is very well equipped including a new Nespresso machine. The beds were super comfortable with high quality bedding, fluffy robes and Leif products in the shower. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway, we will be back. Thanks Simon!

We had a wonderful time at Mimosa House. Such a beautiful house, beautifully decorated. We would have liked to have spent more time to relax in the house and garden - so would love to come back again.
