At Stia you can stay in scenic and quiet surroundings overlooking fjords and mountains. Here you can enjoy silence under the starry sky and northern lights, or simply have lazy days on the beach "Stia" which is located just below the cabin. You can also enjoy the hot tub in summer and winter. If you want speed and excitement, there are many possibilities: Alpine slope in Glomfjord, glacier hiking on Svartisen, skiing in Meløyalpene, island hopping along the Helgeland coast and more. Welcome to peaceful Mårnes on Beautiful Island! ​Here the family lives in the middle of magnificent nature at the foot of the majestic Sandhornet (993 meters above sea level). Experience magical midnight sun, white beaches and a rich wildlife with moose, deer and sea eagles right outside the door. ​Here you can try your luck at fishing or go for lovely mountain hikes. Close by you will find the Joker with cafe and in the summer time you can enjoy lovely baked at the Elias Blix cafe. A perfect place to find peace together!

Large cabin with a lovely view, boat and sauna

We welcome outdoor enthusiasts to our beautiful cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down to the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14-foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great, private sauna barrel right by the water, and an outdoor jacuzzi (this is new as of July 2025). Formidable hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top tours and smaller family trips for you.

BOLGA, a remote IDYLL N of the ARCTIC CIRCLE

Bolga is a beautiful island on the Helgeland coast with approx 85 friendly inhabitants, a grocery store and a tavern. Exciting conditions for hiking, climbing, bouldering, kayaking, diving, seakiting, fishing and foraging. The cottage is situated in the south-west corner, 2 km easy walking from the harbour. Daily connection with the mainland by ferry or local boat to/from Ørnes and express boat to/from Bodø/Sandnessjøen. You may observe the amazing Northern Light from September.

We are rented out a new and great apartment in a unique natural area overlooking the Tjongsfjord and as a starting point for fishing trips and hiking in the fields and mountains! Yacuzzi can be rented for an extra fee on 600,- for a weekend or 800,- by the week.

Cabin with high standards. Here you can enjoy the scent of the sea and a lovely view. Bed linen and towels can be rented by prior arrangement for NOK 150 per person It is possible to rent a boat from NOK 1,000 per day, excluding fuel.
