Here you can enjoy an active holiday with mountain hiking, paddling, swimming or biking. If you just want to relax, the large terrace is perfect for sunbathing and barbecuing or just relaxing with a good book. Here you have everything you would need for a comfortable vacation. If the weather is bad you have panoramic views to the natural elements from the inside.

Stay in newly remodeled Community School

Idyllic Storvik is a small village at the end of Nordland coast in the middle of Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are oceans, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old grend school that we in our family have converted into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very light, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you would rather relax on the beach and enjoy nature in the distance it is fully possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

At Stia you can stay in scenic and quiet surroundings overlooking fjords and mountains. Here you can enjoy silence under the starry sky and northern lights, or simply have lazy days at the beach "Stia" which is located just below the cabin. You can also enjoy the hot tub in summer and winter. If you want speed and excitement, there are opportunities for many: Alpine slope In Glomfjord, glacier hiking on Svartisen, skiing in Meløyalpene, Øyhopping along the Helgeland coast and more. Nice cabin (60 m2 + loft) for rent preferably on a weekly basis. The cabin is located close to tourist information in Holand, and only 1 km from the crossing to Svartisen. Bedroom 1: double bed, Bedroom 2: two single beds Loft w/ 3 sleeping places. Bathroom w/ washing machine, shower, toilet. Open living room/kitchen w/ stove, fridge, dining table, sofa group, wireless internet and TV (Canal digital). Terrace with seating area, great view and barbecue. Short distance to great hiking opportunities in the area.

In this peaceful and spacious place, the whole group will be comfortable. 4 bedrooms, private TV room, workplace with a view, dining area both in the kitchen and in the living room. Nice view from most rooms. Spacious terrace and large lawn. The house is newly renovated in its original 50-60s style, focusing on the environment and reuse. Sandy beach and the sea is just nearby. We have wild and beautiful nature around us on all sides, and bright summer nights as well as winter storms can be enjoyed here.

Stabburet, Nordeng

Stedet ligger ca 1 km fra fergekai på Ågskardet, like ved sjøen. Utsikt fra huset, til fjord og fjell i området. Gode mulighet til fjellturer, både enkle og mer krevende. Passer best for 2, el liten fam. Huset er fra 1800-tallet, men renovert og nytt bad m dusj i 2017. Tidligere stabbur, men bolig siden 1946, og har beholdt noe av det opprinnelige preget. Utstyrt for enkel matlaging, med hybelkomfyr. Kjøl og frys. Elbillading bare etter avtale på forhånd. Et soverom, bratt trapp opp.

BOLGA, a remote IDYLL N of the ARCTIC CIRCLE

Bolga is a beautiful island on the Helgeland coast with approx 85 friendly inhabitants, a grocery store and a tavern. Exciting conditions for hiking, climbing, bouldering, kayaking, diving, seakiting, fishing and foraging. The cottage is situated in the south-west corner, 2 km easy walking from the harbour. Daily connection with the mainland by ferry or local boat to/from Ørnes and express boat to/from Bodø/Sandnessjøen. You may observe the amazing Northern Light from September.

Travel back in time without electricity, and spend the night with water only from the stream and an outdoor toilet.

Svartisen Northern light

Welcome to Svartisen Northern light. The cabin is located by the seaside and has a private dock. You can also find a telescope inside the cabin, and during the winter this is the place to observe the Northern lights when the sky is clear. The boat to Svartisen are approximately 400 m away from the cabin, so this is a perfect place to start glacier hiking. If you like fishing there is fishing gear available.

Sigurdbrygga -Seahouse with view to eagles

Restored and charming seahouse from 1965. Brightly decorated house of 35 m2, with 2 small bedrooms on the loft. Living room has a dining area and a reading area. Modern kitchen with dishwasher, fridge / freezer, and bathroom with toilet and shower. Outside area with garden furniture and campfire pan. Yacuzzi can be rented for an extra fee on 600,- for a weekend or 800,- by the week.

Cabin on Engavågen

Simple and peaceful accommodation, which is centrally located. Here you can enjoy a late night with sunset and sea view. 3 sleeping places divided into 2 bedrooms inside the cabin and 3 sleeping places in the annex outside on the terrace. Here is the opportunity for bonfire, barbecue and relaxation with, among other things, board games, good food or just enjoy the silence.
