perfect place for our family getaway!

I overall really liked the stay there’s just a few things to consider before staying! 1.) The hot water in the shower only lasts for about 3 minutes. 2.) You’ll find it a lot easier to just contact Tristan for questions as opposed to Stacy. 3.) Definitely book your activities in advance! We weren’t able to do as much as we would’ve liked to during our stay because of availability. Overall the place is very clean only a few bugs found their way in but that’s expected in a cabin! Perfect for cooking your meals just make sure to open the window it gets a bit steamy in there!

Home was even more beautiful than photos, immaculate, clean and well cared for. Dave was a very attentive host, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They provided a helpful book with information on nearby attractions, which made exploring the area easy. The location is also close to stunning waterfall, natural arches, scenic trails, as well as good food. Highly recommended. Thank you for making our weekend getaway better!

Cabin was just as described in the listing. Secluded, peaceful, and relaxing location. Host were very accommodating to our needs. Lots of outdoor activities in the area. Would definitely come back again.

We had such a nice stay at Margo’s place! It was easy to find, well appointed, and just felt so much like a home away from home. So many little details that added up to a wonderful stay and discussion of a return trip! The beds were comfortable, the location was peaceful and centrally located, and the hot tub felt great after a long day of hiking RRG! Margo was responsive and kind. I wouldn’t change a thing about our stay!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The home was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The setting was peaceful and scenic—perfect for a getaway. One thing to note: the roads leading to the house are a bit winding, so just be prepared for that if you're arriving at night or in less-than-ideal weather. That said, it was absolutely worth it once I arrived. The real highlight of the stay was the hosts. They were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful throughout—from helpful local tips to making sure I had everything I needed. Their hospitality really made the experience special. Despite the curvy drive, I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and charming escape. Thank you for being such fantastic hosts!

This place was AMAZING! If you looking for a nice quiet place to relax and have some fun in the pool with the kids, this place is perfect for that! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We had a wonderful time glamping! Very peaceful and beautiful. Campground well kept, pool was nice and clean. Easy access to the shower house. Food truck was a great addition. We will return soon for another visit.

The AC went out. The host/ co host responded immediately. Grateful for their response. It was back on in no time. A lovely house. We would definitely rent it again.

This little cabin is the best getaway. It feels private but close to amenities and the gorge. The pool is great. It’s cozy and relaxing. Love this place.

This place was absolutely amazing !! We had an awesome time here. We came down to go to the lake and this was the perfect spot. Overall we had a nice relaxing trip - just remember to bring your bug spray !!!

We LOVED our stay!!!! This place is truly a gem and I am so glad I was able to find it for my husband’s birthday weekend getaway for our family. We had peace and quiet plus great amenities to take advantage of. We went on an adventurous hike and even tried a local restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful and if there were any questions or needs they were on top of it. Michaela was readily available and very reponsive! The outpost owner was amazing as well! Super friendly and was great to chat with and taught us a lot about the area! Definitely made our stay memorable! Book today, you won't be disappointed!

We stayed in the smaller cabin, which was perfect for the 2 of us. I wish the kitchen had better lighting which is my only complaint. and won't prevent me from staying again. I will stay here again. Sonya was very friendly. The area was very private. Her dogs are so friendly.

This was a relaxed stay. I felt cozy immediately. The cabin is ideal for a couple. Watching the bats at night and the cows by day was an added treat.

We had a wonderful stay! it rained like crazy while we were there, however we were able to spend some great family time together! It is a great location from hiking! The road was covered with water on our way, they were very quick to respond to us! loved the hot tub! Thanks so much!

My group's recent stay at the Two Dog Lodge was a great experience and I highly recommend this listing for anyone interesting in spending several days in the Red River Gorge area. Perhaps the greatest plus to Two Dog was its location; we were about a twenty-minute drive from town (Stanton) and not far from many trailheads in the national forest. Also, there are many great dining options nearby. While the Two Dog is perched on the side of a mountain - great for views and privacy - driving up the steep gravel road was a little bumpy. Upon arriving, we found Two Dog clean and all amenities ready for use and in working order. No surprises. I was also impressed by the quality of customer service from our host. Questions were quickly answered and directions were clear. I would be very happy to stay in this cabin again.

Very scenic spot with a responsive host. It was a great area, somehow close to everything but you had your little piece of privacy. Within walking distance of a walking bridge to a park for small ones to burn some steam off from lengthy travel and close to the stores if you had any last minute things you needed. Very family friendly. I highly recommend.

Thank you for an unforgettable stay! The cabin was spotless, beds were comfortable and the hot tub was the cleanest I have seen. The location was perfect with mountain view’s all around along with a large back yard full of wildlife - rabbits, deer and all kinds of birds including an eagle! Very private and peaceful even with other rentals somewhat nearby. Communication was superb and Tyler went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!!!

Great little cabin! It was just what my wife and I needed, great size for just us. Very clean and very comfortable bed. We did a lit of hiking and the cabin was great to come back to rest and eat for the next day. We like to fish, the river is hard to fish in but we did manage to catch one trout!( It has steep sandy banks) The campground a little farther down the road was nice to let us fish in their pond… there are several bass and bluegill there. We enjoyed walking the road every evening, all in all we had a great experience 😉
