Nice calm and peaceful place in the middle of the jungles. We enjoyed nature around and all nice nature sounds. 5 minutes walking to the beach. The house is big. The bathroom is comfortable and well maintained. There is a big terrace to enjoy nature while reading. The food was delicious: fresh wish, fruits and vegetables. And fresh coconuts - a nice surprise. Tirti and Once brought us to beautiful snorkeling places. If you are looking for a private, calm spot on Sipora island (with no tourists) Spencer’s place is a perfect one. It’s also a perfect spot for surfing. We are not surfers but enjoyed the view on one of the best wave for surfers. All the team is very friendly and helpful! We didn’t have a connection in the house but you can have it on the beach.

My stay at Villa Onu was the perfect week! Surfing, fishing, diving and exploring! We woke up each day to incredible food and friendly staff in one of the best locations on the planet! I couldn’t recommend Villa Onu enough for your next trip away! Despite the long haul journey it’s worth every second! It won’t be my last time staying there! A special thanks to Vincent and Wella, the lovely hosts, who made sure everything was taken care of each step of the way!

Isabell was absolutely amazing from cluing us in on the local waves, restaurants and culture. She helped us organize our ferry tickets, a ride from the port to the airbnb, and a scooter rental. She told us about an amazing bakery nearby where we got fresh sourdough. She also she has a poke bowl business that you have to try (Tiger Bowl). She went above and beyond as a host and is such a pleasure to be around. The accommodations and listing descriptions are 100% accurate and overall can’t recommend enough.

From the time Yanto and Chad welcomed us to their beautiful lodge, to the farewell they gave us, our time at Yanto’s place was unforgettable to say the least. It was our first time at this surf Mecca and we have loved every minute of it. Being 6 girls travelling this first time surf destination, we didn’t know what to expect, but Yanto and Chad’s crew looked after us beyond all expectations. The lodge was surrounded by natural tropical beauty with its own private beachfront, peppered with snorkelling right at your own doorstep. The rooms were large and beds comfortable, all facing the ocean. Location to the best breaks were a stones-throw away and all the staff were friendly, caring and looked after us to no end. The meals were fresh, delicious and plentiful and meal times were flexible to when we wanted to catch waves. Our surf guides took pics (so worth the cost) and always took us to breaks according to all abilities of intermediate to advanced surfers. We will be back 100%

Only 1000 characters aloud so I’ll make it short no words could explain the hospitality and love they showed anyways… always helpful an cater to any need you request if you want an authentic experience with locals and care about supporting local buisness this is your spot, if your used to 4 star resorts they can make you feel right at home with that as well! Options for photographers fine dining but no matter what route you take you will have a beutiful experience I can guarantee that, best airbnb expierience I’ve had times ten, by the end of my stay it felt like holiday seasons with my new family I can’t say enough good things about my stay and will never forget it! Can’t wait to come back soon mahalo nui loa…. Terima kasih 🤙🙌💙

Gaby is the good Soul of "katiet beach Resort Mentawai". If there was a problem,wish or need,she solved it within a short time. She organized everything.the pick-up from the airport,ferry,scooter,… The resort lies beautiful arranged and close to "lances left" right at the beach. I can highly recommend this little paradise.

Nice cosy and nice decorated apartment as shown in the pictures. I had a self check in and out and worked fine. a lot of local foods can be found around. everything working and stable Internet.
