Coffee shops, restaurants and ice cream parlors are all within 5 miles of your stay. 30+ acres of land with an established trail system for exploring. Here you can do as much or as little as you wish. No roughing it in this modern cabin! From the granite countertops to the ductless heating and cooling unit our guest are comfortable.

Price of $135 per night is based on up to 2 people; additional people ages 8 & older $25 extra per person per night. *Hot tub & Pool:we reserve the right to close the hot tub or pool for any mechanical issues that may occur and that is beyond our control. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy a detox in our handcrafted wood fired sauna, or take a soak in the hot tub under the stars! Full kitchen, bathR w/claw foot, & screened in porch. It’s very private, with land to explore. Take a stroll to the pond or creek where you will see a little piece of history, or possibly enjoy a visit from our sweet cows. Close to La Chance winery, Desoto town, Big River access points, valley view glades, & Washington state park.

Sassafras Creek Cabin

Historic log cabin circa 1840 moved to property June 2020. Take a step back in time with furniture and decor to match the cabin’s time period. Located between two houses in newly formed Ste. Genevieve National Historical Park. It is a 10 minute walk to the main part of downtown and other historic tour sites. Adjoins Early American gift shop called Sassafras Creek Originals which is housed in the circa 1850 Brooks house. Close to wineries, biking and hiking.
