100% recommended. The stay was extremely quiet, the area is very quiet, almost no cars pass by at night. The air conditioning works perfectly, which was a great help because we visited Mérida in the hottest season of the year. They left us a full carafe, which is very much appreciated They responded super fast, always attentive and with recommendations In general, everything was super, super good and according to what was published!

The place was very nice, very quiet, everything was excellent, the only bad thing was that the electricity failed us, but we had a solution at the time outside. Everything was excellent. And we also realized that in the evenings the light goes down a little bit.

Our stay was a dream. Everything about it was incredible. We loved everything about the Horseshoe and we used so many of the recommendations given for restaurants and daily activities in Mérida….they were spot on. Check-in and out was smooth and easy. Communication was great. They went above and beyond. We didn’t want to leave! It really is the dreamiest place.

La Casa de la Abuela is truly a gem. The location is perfect, close to everything you might need and still peaceful enough to relax and enjoy. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the vibe and energy were unmatched. The pool was incredible, the perfect spot to cool off after a day of exploring Mérida. We didn’t have a single issue during our stay everything was just right. I’m already looking forward to booking again. It really felt like a home away from home. If you’re thinking about visiting Mérida, this is the place to stay.

A beautiful house in an excellent location, 1 street from the best restaurants and a few steps from the park, La Plancha, and the Montejo promenade. The house has everything you need, a very nice design, it's super fresh. I recommend it 100%.

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property for a full month, accommodating both our families and our newborn — and it couldn’t have been a better fit. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable during our extended stay. Ricardo was beyond helpful — incredibly kind, responsive, and always just a message away with any question we had. His hospitality made the entire experience seamless. The location is perfect — just steps from Calle 47 and only a few blocks from La Plancha, with easy access to great restaurants, cafés, and local spots. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. It truly felt like a home away from home.

We had an amazing stay! The home is simply beautiful. Much more than what the photos reflect. Great neighbors and my kids enjoyed catching the bread man every evening when he blew his horn. The outdoor space is private and peaceful. We had early mornings, pool afternoons and busy evenings. Perfect days. The Ado bus is in walking distance for a day trip and Didi/Uber responds for a pickup within 5 minutes. Hopefully, this home is available on our next visit this fall. If you’re debating, go ahead and book the stay. You won’t be disappointed.

The place is well located on a walking distance to Paseo Montejo. There is a lot to do in this specific spot. Our host has everything ready for a wonderful stay.

excellent location, a really beautiful apartment, we spent 8 days for my husband's recovery and it was amazing to 🫢 wake up and see the lake. Wow, that's priceless, an incredibly beautiful view, we could go for a quiet walk. I felt at home and Charito's attention was wonderful, she was always attentive, and when I had any questions she answered quickly, she was very kind and friendly. Rating 11 out of 10. When I return to Merida I will definitely stay here.

I’ll be back to stay again! I agree with other reviews that the photos don’t do this place justice. It’s a beautiful and unique property. The nearby public stadium was fabulous for a morning/evening run and strength training - always active. The swimming pool is peaceful, the air conditioning quite cool, and the shower hot. The location was perfect for me as I like to be close to the action but not in the action. Highly recommend!

Luis's place exceeded our expectations! It was well decorated and comfortable with a beautiful pool and outdoor spaces. Luis was friendly and helpful too.

I am staying in this apartment for the second time and I will repeat as many times as I go to Mérida. Very comfortable and the decoration is very tasteful.
