Our accommodation "Mummola" is the old main building of our farm in the farmyard in Mehtäkylä. Our accommodation was renovated to a modern standard in 2013, preserving the atmosphere of an old-fashioned granny's house. Our farm is located in a quiet suburb of Kalajoki, 17 km from the center of Kalajoki and 25 km from Hiekkasärki. In our yard, there are rabbits, chickens, cats, and a dog. A trampoline, a go-kart and a sandbox are also available for guests. There is a barbecue canopy in the yard with a gas grill. In the summer of 2026, a yard sauna will be available.

Charming seaside cottage

The cottage is in a great location by the sea. The yard is sheltered, and there is grass for yard games, for example. From the cottage you can go directly to the rocks to admire the sea and from the rocks you can swim in calm weather. There is also a small beach very close by, where even children can swim. In addition, about a kilometer away there is a large, long and beautiful sandy beach. In summer and autumn, you will find wonderful hiking trails, great berry forests and sea buckthorn bushes on the beach. In winter, Pyhäjoki and Kalajoki have great ski trails.

Villa Kaarna is a home built by two architects for themselves. The building's spaces are connected to each other in an airy way. From the windows you can see the pine forest, your own courtyard or sometimes even the northern lights. You can enjoy peace, a fireplace, sauna, nature and the nearby Pöllä beach. This place is suitable for a family as well as a group of friends, or even for a longer stay for someone working remotely. A really nice holiday home in Kalajoki's Hiekkasärki. This unique and stylish apartment is located on a sandy beach by the sea. Marina Dyynikylä is located between the sea and a landscaped pond. The marina area will be built into a high-quality and maritime holiday and recreation center of the Hiekkasärkkien tourist center. This 2-story 88m2 vacation home was completed in the fall of 2023 and was commissioned in 052024.

Small house in the countryside

Stay in the tranquility of the countryside in the village of Rautio. Beds are already made. If necessary, there is a sofa bed in the living room for 1-2 people. The house is an old - built in 1908 - VR barracks building and it once served as the house of an accountant/shunter. The premises, which exude the atmosphere of the past, were renovated in 2022 and put into use for accommodation at the beginning of 2023. In the nostalgic cabin, you can escape from everyday life, sleep peacefully and stay in an atmospheric way. You are warmly welcome!

The rental property consists of a log cabin with an old atmosphere and a modern sauna building, which houses the property's third spacious living room/bedroom. Here you can enjoy your own peace.
