Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Merrijig

Our stay was beautiful! The amenities were excellent and we couldn’t have been happier with the overall service and cleanliness. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect country getaway ⭐️

Wow! Wow! Wow!!!!! Jamie and Steph’s place is like a scene from Yellow Stone, the place looks amazing 🤩 in the photos, but it’s even better! In real life. The house is situated and designed to have breath taking views no matter where you are in the house, it’s super clean and superbly functionally organised. Jamie and Steph were quick to respond and gave fabulous recommendations for swimming in the area, my family loved the stay and did not want to go home, neither did our dogs, lol, their is a lot of land, our dogs were in dog heaven being able to roam around the large gated area of the home. We plan to visit here every year, it was that good 😌 you won’t know how good until you actually experience it, you won’t regret it, infact, kinda don’t want everyone to go, then you may get my spot😅 but this place needs to be shared. Hope you have a experience to rave about like we did 😉

awesome little place perfect for a quiet getaway

Andrews place was amazing we had a great time exploring around the vic high country and always had a warm dry and comfortable place to come back to.

Villacostalotta was just what we all needed for a wonderfully relaxing weekend away with a couple of girlfriends. The house was absolutely gorgeous, exactly as the listing described. Shona left a basket of goodies which we demolished with glee! She’s a very thoughtful host. Beds and doonas were comfy, towels were beautifully fluffy, the rainshower shower head was fantastic and the log fire was divine on the cold nights when we each snuggled in the blankets provided on the couch. Thoroughly recommend Villacostalotta if you need somewhere to stay in the area. (The local White Hart pub makes a fantastic meal and the staff there are just lovely, too!)

We had such a wonderful stay at Two Rivers Lodge in Acheron. So quiet, peaceful, homely and relaxing. The property was beautiful inside and out. I think I found my happy place here. My family and I will definitely be returning.

Ahhh the serenity. The place was perfect for a long weekend, high on the hill overlooking Yea, but within walking and riding distance of the town below. It was presented perfectly and was one of the best equipped properties we have stayed at.

Very nice secluded place for a short getaway. Cozy and dog friendly. Definitely recommended for those who want short getaway with your fur babies.

We were met by Steve who gave us an upgrade to a better room because the first wasn’t ready. We were given free access to the property which is in a lovely setting. We would definitely recommend Debby’s for a relaxing stay.

Very convenient if you’re going skiing to Mt Buller and don’t want to pay 3x the price for a similar apartment in Mt Buller Alpine village. You’re only 25 minutes door to door to the carpark, and a bus takes you from there to the lifts. The apartment is simple and has everything you need. The surroundings are just breathtaking. Very peaceful area.

Great place to stay, highly recommend for a get away or to stay for the winter snow!

Without question, our favourite place we've been in Australia. Absolutely stunning views, a beautiful atmosphere, romantic, quiet, private, comfy and classy accommodation - and moments from amazing winery's and food. The cute goats and other animals are adorable and abundant. Whether you want to gaze at the plentiful stars on a clear ngiht, cosy by the log fires or walk up the hill for some spectacular views - its all there. As for Marty, the host - he's the cherry on top. Friendly, kind and an incredible person. Genuinely, you can't find anything better than this. Loved staying here for a weekend wedding. The caravan park is beautifully situated and our cabin had the best view of the creek. Super peaceful and great to just sit on the little porch playing cards and looking at the birds. Would definitely come again!

We had a great few days at this cute little cabin. Our toddler loved feeding the chickens on the property. The fire made it so warm and cosy and Robert had set it up all ready for our arrival which was a nice touch. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a little country getaway. Loved our stay. Everything matched the description. Beautifully styled and felt right at home. The river at the bottom of the property is spectacular and really adds to the overall charm. Saw local Kangaroos and Deer down by the river. Bed was comfy, heating with the electric heater was ample and plenty of firewood on hand for the Coonarra fire. An easy 20min drive into town. Felixa was really responsive to any questions and helpful. There’s no TV but that’s mentioned in the description. There’s plenty of games etc to keep you occupied. Wi-Fi worked fine.

It really is a magical place, ideal for relaxing and connecting with nature. In addition, it is close to Mount Buller, which is ideal for the snow season. On the other hand, the accommodation is perfect, even much more beautiful than in the photos. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it 100%.

Christ is a lovely host and has very small house in a very peaceful surroundings. However, Chris was unaware of the booking the place was not ready for us to check in. Though we had to wait for a few hours for the place to be cleaned up, we enjoyed the surroundings and river meanwhile.
