We enjoyed our stay. Nice and clean. Smelled fresh. The cottage was as described and even had more homey accents than expected - coffee maker, coffee pods, coffee milk, condiments in the fridge, toaster, snacks, nice dishes and cookware, great TV, comfy sofa and even an electronic fireplace in the main bedroom. Many thoughtful details throughout. Soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Extra towels. A hot tub ready to enjoy and kayaks at the house to use at the nearby lake. I really wish it wasn’t a downpour weekend so we could’ve used the hot tub and kayaks. Quiet neighborhood. Parking for 1-2 cars. Great notebook chock full of helpful information of the area. Nice touch! We would stay here again and can see this being a great location for summer with the lake and water availability. The owners were kind and very responsive to any and all feedback.

5 stars is not enough for how wonderful our stay was! The area was so quiet and peaceful right on the water and everything inside was clean and tidy. You could tell everything was clean, especially the linens which smelled like fresh laundry. We got rained out one of the days but still enjoyed our time thoroughly. Would definitely stay here again!!

This place was perfect for our family weekend of skiing! It was as advertised and matched the pictures. Marco's home is completely renovated and very clean. Marco was proactive with communication, checked the hot tub for us before we arrived, and gave us very friendly and clear instructions. Based on rentals, Marco let us check-in early and even check-out a little later which was very helpful and stress-free. We would definitely love to return!

This house was perfect and better than expected. Often times pictures can be deceiving, especially lake properties, but this was just as pictured. Quiet, peaceful and private location with backyard access to the lake and your own private dock for fishing or boating. Amazing amenities!

Can't beat this location! Came to ski at Sunapee and it was around a 6 min drive to the mountain. House sits right on the lake too which was a beautiful view. Justin a was very responsive and proactive host!

Siding was very communicative throughout the entire process. My family enjoyed the cottage to ring in the New Year together. We had such a peaceful time. The house was just as described. We were lucky with weather and were able to enjoy a New Year’s Eve hike with great views

Our stay was just wonderful, the beds and furniture was very comfortable. The view is amazing. The kitchen and bathroom are just beautiful. The large fireplace was something else! Pat was a wonderful host, and would love to come back sooner than later! Can’t say enough of our amazing this place is

This cabin was a perfect, relaxing getaway for us and our pup. It had everything we needed, down to the skewers needed to roast our marshmallows. It was quite chilly the weekend we visited, but the cabin's heat worked great and we were comfortable throughout the weekend. There are kayaks, a canoe and a paddleboard that were available to use on the pond- and there are plenty of hiking spots around to take advantage of. Thank you, Dana, for a great weekend - We hope to visit again soon!

Lovely wooded feel. Enjoyed the view of the lake. Everyone was so friendly in town too.

This is our second time staying here! Rosanna is a great, responsive host! If you want a peaceful little retreat this is the spot! The screened in porch was my favorite! I will miss having my morning coffee there! It’s cozy, clean and perfect for our a little getaway with friends! Close to weirs beach, and neighboring towns! Such a gem!

Would absolutely recommend. We were looking for a place to stay with our baby while visiting friends nearby and this place was as described and worked great for us. It’s like luxury camping and you get to enjoy the beautiful lake views!

Andy’s place was absolutely beautiful! This was one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in quite a while. We were here for the weekend for school and the location and place was PERFECT for a nice getaway and a relaxing place to stay. The house itself is very beautiful and clean with a great bathroom, kitchen and living room. The house also sits right in from of the lake, so personally, I really enjoyed going on a morning run right next to it everyday. Andy was also a great host with crystal clear instructions. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

What a lovely place. The weather was cold when we came and having a fireplace was so cozy. The cottage was well equipped with everything we could need and the area is beautiful. Arthur was responsive to our needs and inquiries. I would absolutely stay here again.

This cabin was perfect for our Fall weekend getaway. It was cute and cozy, and just enough space for our family of three. We were just able to fit our daughter's pack n play in the second bedroom, and with the beach/lake right outside our door, our baby monitor was easily within range while my husband and I were able to sit outside at night and relax. It was also very close to many local attractions and restaurants. I'd definitely stay here again.

We were looking for a place to relax and enjoy the area while visiting NH for a big wedding. Jamie’s place was perfect, even when it rained. He was very helpful. Love the rustic charm and falling asleep to the song of the frogs.

We rented one of the cabins at Lakehurst Cottages for a week in August. We were nervous because we were bringing up our boat and had a bad experience at another lake last year. Jim and Janet were so reassuring as to where we could keep the trailer and the location of a convenient boat launch. It all worked out great! Our cottage was a delightful 1 bedroom with sliders all around. There was everything we needed to cook meals. They have a fire pit with wood if you want to make a fire, or chairs to sit in by the water. Downtown Alton Bay was 4 miles away and we enjoyed walking around during an annual festival and craft fair. The town docks are plentiful and convenient if you have a boat. There is so much to do at Lake Winnipesauke and this cabin was in such a great location with great hosts - and guests!

Probably one of the best places I've stayed at. Patrick makes you feel right at home from the moment you book the place. The cottage is right next to the lake and just a step away from Wiers beach, a great place to lay down and relax. Patrick even accomodated for local experiences, knowing I had travelled alone. Patrick and Gladys took me hiking and I even went out for drinks with Patrick. Honestly, if I could give the place 6 stars I would. Could not recommend it enough.
