Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Merseyside

Naomi and Chris were incredible and their place was exactly what we were looking for while enjoying Liverpool. More than enough space for two people, a full kitchen, laundry and a private garden. Getting to their house was a short bus trip from city center but we also walked all over and never felt uncomfortable. Will definitely book again when we go back! Go Reds!

Dave is an excellent host. He communicates well, proactively and responds promptly when reached out to. Although we had no issues during our stay, David was readily available has issue arisen. The house is wonderful and exactly as described. The proximity to the Anfield stadium is perfect for a Liverpool soccer match. We appreciated David’s flexibility on check out time to work with our soccer match and travel schedule. The location also offers easy access to the lively Liverpool city center. We highly recommend a stay with David in the Anfield House !

Super flexible and communicative. Really grateful for that. The house is lovely and great location/super convenient with the EV charger too. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great 2 night stay in Formby. After a 5 hour drive it was great to have tea/coffee and milk there ready for us. The kids loved the toys in the bedroom and our dog loved the large enclosed back garden. Joanne was very helpful and recommended parking for the local beach which was great. We were sad to be going home! Thanks for a lovely stay.

First of all, what a friendly and accommodating guy Carl was! He allowed us to pick up keys early, so that we could get on and enjoy our day in Liverpool, whereas he easily could have said no. Plenty of free street parking nearby (if you can’t get the few outside the house) and a fairly peaceful little street in general. Stones throw from the train station made it ideal for us getting into the city. The house was lovely and pristine. Although the weather was against us, the outside private patio area would have been lovely to have enjoyed late into the evening. Thoroughly impressed and would certainly consider coming back the next time I’m this way. Thank you Car!

We had an amazing time in this beautiful home and it was very well equipped. It is a gorgeous period property with log burners inside and in the well kept garden. Jacquie was responsive and this kind lady left my parents a bottle of wine. The kitchen had eggs, bread and butter, milk, tea and coffee and some condiments and cleaning products. I would definitely return and this home is great value for money. Thanks for the stay.

Sonias house was exactly as described . Situated in a quiet cul de sac , a short walk from a large supermarket . The interior was extremely comfortable . The whole house was spotless and the bedding was crisp , beds very comfortable too. The little courtyard at the back ia a suntrap in the afternoon and very peaceful . I cannot recomend this property highly enough . Many thanks Sonia, if we are ever up your way again , we will be in touch. Christina

This is the second time I've stayed here. It is perfect location for Stockton Heath visit and has a dedicated parking space. The kitchen equipment and food provided is much more than expected.

Lynne is a lovely lady and her place is beautiful and peaceful my husband said it was the comfiest bed he had ever slept in. Stones throw from the beach everything you need in the local village and a walkable journey to the train station or drive to Liverpoool.or Southport so great location. The statues on the beach are breathtaking and we'll worth the stay just to see them. Highly Recommend

Perfect for our weekend. The accommodation was perfect, in fact we were taken back with how there cupboards were full off useful things…. Condiments, sauces, toiletries and that’s just a few I can mention. Appreciated the milk, bread, butter, nice gesture and makes a difference to some places who don’t offer that. Host also helped us out when our car broke down whilst we were there and went above and beyond to help sort it out for us. Overall the place was lovely, more than I actually expected, clean, tidy and perfect. Would definitely stay again if ever visiting Wigan. Thank you

Fantastic place in a first class location with all amenities and services nearby. Wonderful sunset views from the balcony. Spacious accommodation with comfortable beds and all as described. Christine is a wonderful host offering us an day early check in which was an amazing gesture greatly appreciated. She also provided screens of helpful information and responded ar once to my - sometimes dopey - queries. Highly recommended. 12 out of 10 from us.

Absolutely beautiful place. Full of character and charm and felt so cosy we did not want to leave. We had everything we needed and Dawn is a fantastic host. Such a lovely place, had a nice girly weekend for my hen do with my bridesmaids and maid of honour and the hosts were really sweet. They were happy to co-ordinate with my maid of honour so the whole thing was a really nice surprise and it was overall really private and peaceful with such stunning views. Would highly recommend and think we will definitely be booking again 🤍

We stayed here for a weekend away as a group of school mates all turning 30. The property was the perfect base for us, providing us with the best possible experience. We’re an active, activity based bunch and this stay had something for everyone. Multiple activities, from the pool table, darts board, table tennis, air hockey, and yes the Pool and Sauna. Many of my friends couldn’t believe just what we had found for this stay. Private use of the pool is a great bonus. All beds were made, fresh linens and towels provided. We used the kitchen to cook our breakfast each morning. There’s ample parking for 3-4 vehicles inside and plenty on street right next to the property, which is a quiet street so not a stress. Whilst the decor is aged, we are not particular on this and found it added to the charm. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and spots to relax. We would stay again! The host was fantastic in communication and response to questions posed and made the whole process easy.

Great place to stay with beautiful views. Struggled getting the hot tub up to temperature that was the only issue encountered (very windy conditions)
