The outbuilding has a wood-burning sauna and a sleeping loft with a double bed. (Bath barrel extra charge). Gas grill and wood-fired grill can be found in the yard and you can sit under the lean-to. Easy to get to by public transport. Skating rink in Vesankajärvi in winter and a sledding track. Disc golf course Vesala monttu 2 km, Petäjävesi 20 km. Laajavuori 9 km.

The diverse services and sights of the city center are just a short walk away and also easy to get to by public transport. The convenience store K-Market Tapionkatu is 450m away. Tuomiojärvi beach is 650m away. There are several free parking places nearby and one parking area where you can park without a parking disc.

The cottage has no electricity or running water, wood heating. You can cook with wood heated stove. Blankets, pillows, and mattresses can be found in the cottage. Kesäaikaan näet ikkunoista vehreitä vaahteroita ja pihatammen oksat, talvella taas läheisen Jyväsjärven jää siintää horisontissa. Majoittujana saat olla omassa rauhassa pienen talon (40m²) suojissa. Moottoritieltä pääset autolla muutamassa minuutissa kohteeseemme, meiltä on 3,5 km Jyväskylän keskustaan.
