The Sim cottage is well located between the Auxey-Duresses vineyards. Comfortable, well-equipped for 3 people and with a nice little terrace. Only 2 km from Meursault (on foot, by bike) with shops, restaurants and cafes. In addition, Sim and her family are very kind and give a lot of practical information. Recommended, we'll be back! Charming house in Burgundy, “Les Coquelicots”

Our family came together for a week at Les Coquelicots from all parts of the world and what a wonderful time we had. The home is charmingly appointed and fits eight adults comfortably, with lots of alternative spaces in which to find quiet or relocate for a change of scenery. The garden is a lovely setting for reading and dining, the living room is spacious for games and movies and the bar is another kitsch space to convene with some delicious bottles easily found in Burgundy. We were always able to contact someone for assistance and we found lots of spices, teas, oils, vinegars and all one might want to find in a delightful countryside kitchen. The home is in a beautiful village about 20 mins by car from Beaune and other villages within the region. Walking in the countryside and enjoying an evening sunset is possible on foot to many different vantage points. It’s a special place to relax, make memories and feel connected with nature.

We had a wonderful stay in Brigette’s beautiful villa! The home was most comfortable, it had all we needed, and Brigette was always prompt to reply to messages and was most attentive. The 3 hens and their fresh eggs were a unique experience! We loved sitting in the shade of the trees around the koi pond. We’ll def recommend this place for a convenient stay near Dijon — and Beaune is worth the stay anyway— lots to explore in this charming village.
