We will start with a small introduction to jewelry, we will talk about the handling, care and safety required for the implementation of the workshop. At the end we will start with the technical learning of how to make a 925 sterling silver ring from scratch, starting with the mixture of metals to convert pure silver .999 to .925. The techniques that we will handle will be casting by means of torches, sheet metal rolling (thinning and stretching the silver ingot) draft (cutting the silver by means of saw blades and jeweler's bow) ring making (silver bending and straightening), welded (Union of the different pieces of the ring by means of a torch and welding) and finally the finish that can be matte or polished. Get ready to learn a new technique and take home a piece of jewelry made with your own hands. We will provide you with all the necessary tools to learn and wear a sterling silver ring made by yourself. If necessary, we can meet somewhere in the middle and take a taxi to the workshop. We will continue our tour to the most fascinating activity, enter to the underworld (cave) where, we will have a light lunch or snack inside an ancient cave excavated by the Teotihuacans 2000 years ago. We are going to have a great time!!! but please take in consideration: We will be back to México , the DROP OFF will be at Monumento a la Revolución between 3:30- 4:30 pm. XOCHIMILCO ALL INCLUSIVE ART-FOOD-DRINKS

After picking you up in the place you're staying (or a midpoint in case we have different groups) we will visit Xochimilco's downtown market, the place where locals get their goods and the main place of Mexico City where people buy plants and flowers. After that we will go to the Trajineras of Xochimilco, a boat ride on what's left of the ancient water ducts, where the aztecs used to transport. There we will eat typical mexican food (tacos, quesadillas and sopes (veggie available) ) and drink mexican beers (they can be three different mexican sodas if you don't drink alcohol). During all the experience we'll be chatting and learning about Xochimilco and it's cultural relevance in México. After that I'll take you back where I picked you up, hoping you had an amazing day. WARNING: In the rare case only one person takes the experience, I would have to reschedule your experience for another day with more guests. Other things to note I recommend to have a strong breakfast before I pick you up. If you get hungry quickly I recommend to bring a snack. I also recommend to bring one or two 5 pesos coins.
