A wood burning fireplace- fall through end of March and outside fire pit. Public beach a 5 minute drive away. Couples check out the cabin for anniversaries & special days.

I have to warn you definitely not a hook up spot or party house!!! typically rise with rooster on this 5 acre country setting with a small fishing pond. 420 friendly .. Quiet hours are 11 -8 generally some music playing, musicians are welcome !! if you happen to book on a Sunday i host an Open Mic in my Barn every Sunday ..... pretty relaxed. Upon arriving, turn into the driveway, and then right into the yard. Apartment is upstairs, the door is open with the keys inside. ✌️

Great spot for a getaway with the guys for some golf and gambling. House had everything we needed and was in a nice neighborhood. Wish there was more Uber/Lyft in the area but that’s not the fault of the hosts. Overall a great experience.

Louise's house is magical. I've never felt more at home in an Airbnb. The minute you open the door, you are surrounded by the beautiful colors in her gorgeous fabrics and rugs. Louise has thought of everything-from lots of towels (high humidity area and longer drying time), an incredibly well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and lots of different seating areas and options. The screened in porch is beyond relaxing. Early mornings on the porch, listening to the birds, was my favorite way to start the day. The neighborhood beaches (15 minute walk) were private, quiet, and beautiful. Sunset at Stop 39 is the best. The beach town of New Buffalo is only a 10 minute drive, with fun rooftop restaurants and a larger beach. A farm for blueberry picking is also close by. We hope to return to Louise's again!

We had a great 1 night stay here. It was just as described and the location is a very short walk to a coffee shop, the restaurants on the Main Street, and all the antique shops. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and very comfy bed.

Very responsive host. The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the peaceful town and enjoyed discovering the restaurants in the area. The golf cart was a great addition to our experience and the small beach just ten minutes walk from the house was adorable. A huge plus: they allowed dogs at certain times, so that was a plus. We enjoyed our time there. Thanks for hosting us!

Words truly can’t capture how wonderful Alicia’s place was. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Alicia was incredibly responsive and helpful—any question we had was answered quickly and with genuine care. The property itself is absolutely stunning, nestled in the peaceful countryside with beautiful horses that our girls fell in love with. Coming from Montana and spending several nights in the city as part of our road trip, this stop was exactly what we needed—a breath of fresh air, literally and figuratively. Our daughters had the best time playing outside, exploring the open space, and bonding with the horses. It reminded all of us of home and gave us a chance to truly relax and reconnect. During our stay, we also visited the charming little zoo in town and enjoyed peaceful moments by the lake—it all added to the experience. Without a doubt, if we’re ever in the area again, this will be the only place we stay. Thank you, Alicia, for creating such a special space.
