We loved how close this cute little house was to the downtown area. It was clean and tidy, beds were firm, but ok. It has a nice big yard, with plenty of outdoor seating. Would recommend.

This location was clean, quiet and comfortable. Perfect spot for enjoying the Dunes, hiking and birdwatching. I own a non-Tesla electric vehicle and there was a reliable set of chargers (6) at the Meijer store 5 miles away.

We had an amazing time staying here for our joint Bachelor/Bachelorette weekend! It is a beautiful property that comfortably fit all 13 of us! We miss it already! It was a great time :)

My family and I had a lovely summer Indiana Dunes weekend at Jill’s place. The house was clean, cozy, and well-stocked. We loved the bikes and covered back porch. It was nice to be right on the Calumet trail, in biking distance to beaches. We took a 25 minute drive to Garwood’s and came home with a boatload of strawberries, and took a beautiful sunset dip in Lake Michigan. Thanks for the fun weekend!

Place was as advertised, not much to complain about at all. Easy to find, clear communications, clean place. Only criticism I’d have is there is no closet/drawer space in the first bedroom, would recommend putting a nightstand or something in there if possible. Thanks Brooke!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s house! It was clean, great location & cozy! We especially loved the automatic pool cover so we could actually relax on vacation with our little ones running around. I also loved the three separate areas outside (pool, fire pit, grassy area). The separate areas offered a nice change of scenery to break up the day without leaving the house. I also loved that it’s a spacious ranch style house, so was easy to keep eyes on the kids. Jennifer was a wonderful & accommodating host & can’t wait to get back to her house soon! Thanks for having us!

The place is amazing. Always clean smells wonderful when you walk in. Plenty of space and always nice and responds. The hot tub is extra nice as well. Perfect location from pretty much everything the city has to offer!!

Host was very responsive and helpful. we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Kids loved the pool and outside area! Great location and the house is decorated very beautifully! The kitchen provides everything you need to cook a meal also.

It was me and my family first summer vacation in a Airbnb and we enjoyed ourselves and Paul was really nice and on point we will be back

What a wonderful stay our family had in Michiana Shores, Indiana at Greg’s place. Even though 2 of the 3 days were mostly overcast / rain, there was still plenty of activities to do. We hung out in the pool & hot tub areas multiple times, had a fire every night, and cooked all 3 meals each day in the wonderfully maintained kitchen. The kids loved their room setup with the bunk bed and twin bed. The parks nearby are lovely. The backyard was very luscious with tranquility full of greenery and peacefulness. Greg was very responsive and helped us out with questions before and during our stay. Definitely would recommend this spot if you are wanting to take a vacation near the nationally known Indiana Sand Dunes. Overall 5+ stars!

We had a great stay! The house was perfect. It was nice and clean with a great rooftop deck and screened in porch. The location could not have been better, walking distance to everything in town. Everything was easy as far as check in and check out with a book explaining everything in the house. Mark was great at responding to questions. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great stay! Loved the pool and lanai. Had fun playing the board games from the 80s and 90s. Great, well equipped kitchen - even a blender for smoothies! Linens were amazingly comfortable.

We had a lovely family reunion at St Joe’s overlook. Kitchen came with literally everything- all sorts of cooking instruments (crock pot, air fryer, toaster etc), spices/oils, and zip lock bags for leftovers. All brand new appliances and ample prep space. We got the pool heated and it was wonderful! Very large size to fit all the family kids. The hot tub was a nice save for the adults who were freezing. Beautiful views from the living room of the river with ample and comfy seating. The home was perfect for a large gathering. We appreciate Evan and Claire hosting us they were always responsive and helpful.

Lovely home, many well thought out perks like fans in upstairs rooms and beach toys for kids! Info said it was an easy short walk to beach so I spent a whole lot more than I usually would. With children it would not be pleasant and is really not a short walk (and is on a semi busy road) & beach is down a whole lot of steps. BUT there are parking spaces so it was fine. Within the house, the steps are fairly steep at parts & there are 2?big ones going into house &!these were hard for my 70 year old mom w knee issues. So if person reading reviews is one of those people, this might not be THE place. That being said, it is very short walk to community pool & host is very responsive & house is beautiful! My mom mostly stayed within first floor including an awesome bed/bath on ground floor. There are games (although I didn’t love the Ouija board 🫣😂) . This would be a great place for multiple family / friends to split cost ;) Its very beautiful & community pool & hot tub are great!

Had a lovely time staying at Elsa's place. it was so close to the beach that we were there every day! There were some cute little thrift shops and eateries around and plenty of walking trails at the state park. it was the perfect mix of outdoorsy activities with the comforts of home. The house was easy to find and had a super cute patio area for playing games and sitting by a little campfire. The fenced in yard was great for our pup and I imagine kids would appreciate the play set. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay at this home! The location was perfect—just 10 minutes from the beach—which made it easy to enjoy the area. One of our favorite features was the four seasons room; it was such a cozy and relaxing spot to hang out during our trip. The house itself was very clean, open, and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this stay to others, and I really don’t have any major complaints that would have ruined the experience. That said, there were a couple of small issues. The hot tub wasn’t heated before our arrival and took over 12 hours to warm up, which was a bit disappointing for a weekend stay, as we essentially lost a day of use. However, Caitlin was extremely responsive and ready to send someone out if it didn’t reach the proper temperature. The other issue was the queen-sized bed—it was quite stiff and seemed to have a broken frame, causing it to lean and making it uncomfortable to sleep

I have stayed here before and loved each visit. The place is always clean and smells great. Connie is an amazing host, very helpful and pleasant.

This was ur second stay at Andrew’s and it didn’t disappoint. He worked with us last minute to make a reservation so we had somewhere to stay. A friend of ours passed away and we didn’t have a lot of planning time. We love that the place has a pack n play, high chair, and some kids toys & dishes. Things like that make a stay with children much smoother. Thanks again for another great experience.

Harry Potter theme was SPOT ON! Place felt cozy and had lots of room for everyone. Hazel and Chad did a great job responding to anything we needed. You could tell the quality of our stay was their main priority.

The host was very responsive and friendly. He gave recommendations on where to eat. The recommendation of a tiny restaurant named Cool Runnings ended up being a HIT SENSATION! I was HAPPY that he recommended the restaurant. The home is nestled in back at a dead end street. Nice neighborhood and quiet! Waking up to the view of the beach was great. Literally a 3 minute walk down a path will get you to the beach. That walk alone was definitely worth the money spent. I loved the arcade games. When visiting Michigan City again we will stay here. My wife, our dog and I stayed at the farmhouse for a long weekend to relax away from the city. It was the perfect country escape- peaceful, tranquil and still a quick drive to everything we wanted to explore. We mostly went to New Buffalo for restaurants and kayaking, and to the Indiana Dunes for hiking. The farmhouse was tastefully decorated with upscale amenities (like the coffee maker we decided to purchase when we got home). Mornings were spent reading on the screened in porch, listening to the birds and watching the chickens outside. There’s plenty of seating if you have a larger group, with tables inside and outside for meals. Stefanie was a wonderful host, her guidebook has great recommendations of things to do in the area and she gave very helpful instructions for the house. We definitely hope to return sometime as it’s so close to Chicago! Perfect weekend trip.
