"The Shed"

At first glance, yes it's a shed. But explore further and you will find an unique Aussie experience, a fully functional self contained room. Shower, toilet and kitchenette. All private and seperate from our house. It's normally used for overnighters by family and friends. Please be open minded in your expectations, it's not the Ritz, Hilton, Taj Mahal but what it is clean, tidy, private affordable accomadation. Single or couple. Please note that toilet, shower and sink are located in same room.

Set between the Barossa and the Adelaide Hills wine districts with many wonderful wineries within easy reach, this European style log cottage on 20 tranquil acres allows you to see abundant wildlife and native plants - kangaroos, birds, ground orchids. 1km walking track on property, through natural bush settings. Other walking tracks in adjacent Mt Crawford Forest. Nearby towns of Birdwood and Mt Pleasant offer hotel meals, coffee shops and bakeries. Perfect place for a real Aussie experience.

For nature lovers you have an array of Conservation Parks within easy drive: Pooginook C.P. - wombats - 25km Birdlife Australia's Gluepot Reserve - 42km Hogwash Bend C.P. - Regent Parrots -19km Morgan C.P. -19km Dogs are welcome on approval.

This ongoing project utilises reused, recycled Nissan Huts (2 huts) to provide a cosy place to stay. 100% solar powered and filtered rain water. The rooms can be configured to suit a couple or twin share on request. All bookings receive a bottle of local Springton/Eden Valley wine and a cheese plater box from the Barossa Cheese Company.

Nestled on our 5-acre property named Pondicherri, The Barn is set amongst a collection of historic outbuildings offering a countryside escape in a village atmosphere and yet, is very close to all what the Barossa Valley can offer. From the Barn you will see no neighbours, no street lights and a huge night sky of twinkling stars.

Drop into a winery, enjoy a balloon ride across the Barossa or just kick back enjoy the pace of life. Please note a booking for two guests will allow access to one bedroom in the house. If you require both bedrooms you must book for a minimum of three guests. All guests must be over 18.

The cottage is set on the estate 500m from one of SA's most significant Georgian manors, 'Martinsell', built in 1901.
