very lovely place, perfect distance between Doro Kyo Gorge and Nachi Waterfall. The beds were the comfiest in Japan

It's a nice and big house mixed traditional Japanese and western style. It's equipped with everything you need. The surroundings are really beautiful with the plantation in the backyard, probably offering you all the fruit you need in summer. The bathroom and washlets are the most modern you can get. Be aware to close your windows and doors! The mosquitos are quite aggressive and you might get visited by a not-so-friendly centipede (the bites hurt like a bee's sting). If you follow the rules you're gonna have a great time.

We had a great stay at Yusukes place! The house looked exactly like in the photos … it has a beautiful big room with Tatami mats 💛 Everything was as described and Yusuke was always fast with responding to messages. We could even check in earlier because the house was already cleaned. The self check in worked without any problems and made it really easy to access the house without having to organize anything. It’s a great place for a peaceful stay. Thank you Yusuke 🙏🏼

My husband and I spent a peaceful week at this house in Mihama Town from 29 May to 4 June. It was a quiet and peaceful retreat, perfect for spending quality time together while soaking in the beauty of Japan’s nature. The house is located amidst scenic paddy field and is along one of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage routes, which made it an ideal base for exploring the cultural and natural treasures of the Kumano region with car. We also had the chance to visit the nearby Oriyama Shrine and enjoyed learning the living national monument - Kishu Dog, a proud symbol of the region. The accommodation itself is a traditional Japanese home with tatami rooms and a spacious bath, and separate toilet. The house is thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, allowing us to settle in comfortable. We appreciate the tranquil surroundings and loved watching the local life unfold and the morning mists engulfing the mountains in the early morning.The owner clearly takes great pride in this property!
