It was as comfortable as my vacation home in Bohol He also booked me a van before I arrived at the port to move from Cebu to Bohol. There was also drinking water, cooking utensils, and seasonings, and he was very enthusiastic about the accommodation. I needed to print it urgently, but thankfully, I was thankful that you even did the print yourself. It was an eco-friendly accommodation, so I was able to say hello to the lizards every morning, and it was nice to have two air conditioners in the living room. It's a great place for a large family to tie up at an affordable price, so I highly recommend it. I couldn't get Grab on the day I came back, so I asked for a sanding taxi in a hurry, but they worked hard to find it. Thank you. I don't know when I'll go to Bohol again, but until then, be happy.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this property. The interior and the pool looked just like the photos. Though the place is a bit aged, everything was clean, and the towels and bedding were fresh and crisp. It was clear how well David and his family care for the home — even the pool was beautifully maintained. Manager Allen was incredibly responsive and kind to our family’s needs. The firefly tour he arranged was an unforgettable experience — far better than others we’ve seen. When my niece wanted a nail service, David’s wife kindly took her. There was a small issue, but she did her best to help, and we’re very grateful. We also used the chef service — every dish was delicious, and both adults and kids enjoyed the meals. Our family had such a happy and memorable time here. If we come back to Bohol, we’d love to stay again. And lastly, thank you so much, Allen! :)

The House of the Rising Sun was perfect for our group of 10 (9 adults and 1 child). Chris was responsive from the time that I was inquiring about many things before the actual booking, to the time that we were already in Bohol. He made practical suggestions that enabled us to maximize our time in Bohol. The van service provided by the Airbnb was a dealbreaker for us, because this made the airport transfers, the tours and the transportation to and from the beach and the restaurants so much easier (and cheaper!). The house itself was spacious and clean, and it came with all the creature comforts that one would expect from a good airbnb. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, and again this was a major plus for Paul and Chris' place since we did not want to be at the beach all day long. Thank you, Chris, for allowing us to stay in your lovely home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect place to chill and bond with family and friends.

Me and my family enjoyed the house.. we loved to have the whole place by ourselves .. my family enjoyed the pool. Chris and Apple are awesome host and very flexible as we have some changes with our plans.. we give the place and the host 5 star..

The house was open from the sea and had a beautiful view from the room. A place with a special atmosphere, very comfortable and spacious. Quiet neighborhood, scooter ride to the center. Very warm service, especially one of the ladies who welcomed us, was incredibly kind and helpful. Despite the small wifi glitch, a portable router with an internet card was brought just for us, which shows a lot of commitment to the service. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. All this makes us want to go back.

Daniel's place was really lovely to stay at. The three bedrooms are all sizable and have a lovely ensuite and outside shower. Daniel was a great host, very responsive and communicative when we had issues with the electricity (which was the provider's fault, not Daniel's!). They also have solar power so most electrical appliances work even with the frequent Siargao brownouts. It was our son's first trip to Siargao at 6 months old and he loved the pool! Finally, the housekeepers Auntie and Robert who came every day were amazing and so friendly, it was always nice to see them. We'll be back next year so we will book this place again!

I particularly appreciated how homey the entire place felt, simple yet complete. The kitchen was functional, the common areas were spacious, and the ambiance was very calming. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to consider a larger AC unit for the master bedroom, as it got a bit warm during the day. Other than that, everything else was smooth and pleasant. The villa was beautiful, even better than in the photos. The location is perfect if you want to be close to the life of General Luna while remaining in a quiet area. The staff were very welcoming and responded to all our requests, thank you to them! I would recommend this establishment 100%.

As advertised and then some!! Beautiful spot...close to everything convenient and the beach while also maintaining great privacy. Cecile was super responsive. Additionally, local caretaker Henrylyn was always available to help. Mom and Dad kept the house tidy and always respected our privacy. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great space to relax, cook and enjoy a perfect beach just steps away.

We were a big family and we were able to fit on the property. we loved that they have an honesty store especially we had kids with us and their supplies at their mini store are affordable. commending zai as well for assisting us the moment we arrived.

The place is modern, clean, and very comfortable, the beds were a little small for us, but we come from the U.S. so maybe that’s why, other than that the place is perfect for families or friends wanting to hangout together in Davao

My family enjoyed the place so much! The caretaker is really helpful, the house is clean and its so nice they have sleepers outside and the garage is big, safe yung sasakyan. Our only problem is a bit slow yung wifi, nwawala sya most of the time but still not a big deal, also the sink in the masters bedroom is not working wish we had known before.Overall the place is clean, huge, the centralized ac is so nice. We still enyojed our stay, we came from Iligan City pa so the place is trully restful after a long travel.

Jay is the perfect host everyone would like to be hosted by, friendly, knows many things about the Island so that can give you adivices for every activity and where to go for parties and to eat something. The apartment he rents is almost new, has beautiful fornitures and is very comfortable for 3 or 4 people, has a little garden with table and chairs where you can chill and have breakfast enjoying the island’s weather. It’s near many restaurants, beaches and bars so that you can walk 10 minutes to reach the heart of general luna. He also rents motorbikes at a low cost compared to the other prices with which you can explore the whole island, It’s really worth it. I really recommend this apartment if you want to relax, explore and enjoy some time in Siargao.

Great place to stay especially if you are a large family. there are 3 bedrooms which can accommodate at least 8 people. great outdoor wrap around deck gives great views of everything. Hosts were overly helpful
