Its a great place and great hospitality by Swarnim and Family.The surroundings are beautiful. The only concern is the off road at the end to reach the property.Only a Tata Sumo can reach near the property, other vehicles won’t make it.The off road can scare you specially if you are travelling with elders or children. And there is a little hiking needed to reach the property. If the off road and the little hike is not a problem then the property is an ideal place to sit around and enjoy the mountains. Rooms are clean,also they will do cleaning and arrangements as per request.There are 3 connected bedrooms and a separate room. Room size is a bit small but should not be a concern. Kitchen is downstairs and the living as well.A bit stiff stairs. Overall a very nice property if you want to enjoy silence and nature.Also a good wfm destination.Hospitality is great,they will cook homely and tasty foods. leaches might be a concern outside in rainy seasons,though its common in Darjeeling.

We were looking for a quiet corner in Darjeeling - away from the bustle and chaos of the Mall Road. Gurjeeb's place is perfect for that. It's located about 3 km away from the Mall Road, which gives it the kind of quiet and serenity we were after. One needs to drive about a minute down from the main road and then take a flight of stairs to reach Gurjeeb's place so if you want very easy accessibility, this is something you should consider. But the property itself is worth the effort. The room in the attic is big and pretty, with all basic amenities available. A special shoutout to Gurjeeb's cousin Sujan who looked after us very well and took care of all our needs. He helped us get our luggage up and down the property - which would have been a hassle otherwise - and made amazing local food for us. The Happy Valley Tea Estate is a 10-minute walking distance from here and it's quaint, quiet and amazing. Loved the overall vibe of the place and will love to return in the future.

The access is easy and convenient and the apartment is in close proximity to Chowrasta with a walking distance to it. The premises are well kept by disciplined and well mannered staff. Would recommend this place for every individual who is intending to have a relaxing stay in the heart of the town of Darjeeling

Had the most amazing time at Norbu Gokyil in Darjeeling! The place is super peaceful, tucked away just enough from the town to feel calm but still close enough to everything. The best part though was the lovely family hosting us — all four of them were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. You really feel like you’re staying with friends rather than just renting a place. They were always happy to help, whether it was with local tips or just chatting over tea. And their three adorable dogs made the stay even better — super friendly and so cute! The room was clean, cozy, and perfect to come back to after a day of exploring. The food was also really good and homely — just what you’d want in a place like this. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, heartwarming stay in Darjeeling. Already missing it!

Staying at Teesta Homestay was an experience to cherish. A perfect blend of warmth, comfort, and breathtaking beauty. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home, welcomed by the kind-hearted owner and the ever-caring staff. Their hospitality was as heartwarming as the serene surroundings. Nestled in an exotic location, the homestay offered a mesmerizing view that unfolded like a dream. Standing on my balcony, I was left speechless by the sheer magnificence of nature’s artistry. An ever changing canvas of mist kissed hills and tranquil landscapes. Every moment spent there was nothing short of magical, making it a stay to remember. The property is located in the mid of a tea garden. Beautiful place. Perfect for spending some time in the midst of lush green scenic beauty. On top of it Rebika is an awesome host. She took care of us very well. Approaching road is not perfect. But it's worth the trouble once you reach the place.

My wife and I were looking for a peaceful workation away from the city bustle, and we couldn’t have found a better place than this place at Takdah. Nestled in serene surroundings with stunning valley views, the stay had everything we needed — strong Wi-Fi for work, cozy corners to unwind, adorable furry friends, and the most delicious, homely food. What truly made our five-day escape special was the warm hospitality of our amazing host, Ramita ma’am, and the incredible kids at the stay, Ganga and Namrata. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, pampering us with kindness and mouthwatering meals. If you’re looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating workation spot — this is it. Thanks for hosting us Ramita ma’am. We’d love to vist again.

Firstly, Rohan (Bidya mam's son) is a great host. His communication was proactive and hence quite helpful. Secondly, he went out of the way to help with my heavy luggage transfer from my cab to the building, considering I was travelling with a three year old. Thirdly, about the property, it was apt for us - my wife, my son and me. The apartment is right on main road so you don't need to walk uphill to access the same. Those travelling with kids will find it particularly comfortable. The place not only has a number of grocery shops and eateries around but is also close to Chaurasta market, Mahakal market, Rink mall and Darjeeling Himalayan Railway station. They also offer housekeeping every alternate day. Overall our stay was worth it.
