Immaculate, well equipped,spacious single story house with secure parking. Garden room / dining room overlooked spacious patio, garden and heated swimming pool. Beach and restaurants about a mile away at Amorosa. Gabriel provided an excellent welcome pack of wine, milk, bread, butter etc. (and a bag of lemons the following day. ) He responded quickly to any questions and was flexible. We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay.

Incredible space for a family vacation. Amazing care with all the necesario for a 1 year old baby (bed, food chair, bathtub, several buoys for the pool). There were some incredible days

This is an extremely comfortable place. And so cozy and quiet that we slept in every morning! The floor plan is smart and lends to separate living spaces. The garden is lovely. It can feel a little damp but that seems to be the norm in Portugal, and it is easily resolved with a little heat from the mini-splits. We took walks in the neighborhood every evening, and visited nearby beaches, waterfalls, and Viana do Castelo during the day.

We had a great stay at this apartment! It was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. The host was super nice and very helpful, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!

We love and hope to repeat the stay at Toorgo House in the future! Both Mr. Manuel and his son Pedro were extremely helpful and attentive throughout the process and stay. Always very available to help us both at check-in and check-out, they even sent a list of recommendations for the area! The house is even better live! Super clean and decorated with care and quality. We feel right at home! Mr. Manuel's family was also kind enough to welcome us with a delicious birthday cake, a gesture much appreciated by all (and especially by the birthday girl!). The entire property is very well maintained, including the garden! The area is nice and easy to access with amenities nearby! I dare say it was one of the best accommodations we've ever stayed in as a family! We highly recommend it!

I can't say enough about how incredible this Airbnb was, Carla and her property were so beyond expectations. My family and I felt extremely comfortable there, it is remote but absolutely beautiful. We were not able to use the pool, because the weather was a little bit cold. I jumped in for like 20 minutes and even though it was cold it was very nice. Carla was so communicative the entire time we were there, she made lots of helpful suggestions and helped us to book a tour around the Douro Valley and surrounding areas. She and a friend also cooked us breakfast every morning, which was delicious and helped us to start our day. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely return.

Beautiful home with truly unbeatable views. The rooms were very spacious and well laid out. The home was very well appointed and had everything needed and then some. Close to Porto (easy and affordable uber ride into town) and attractions within Gaia. Stayed with 6 adults and 2 infants and the space worked super well and seems versatile for all types of groups. Clare was responsive throughout booking and arrival. There was some franticness during check in around the AC but only a minor hiccup and all was resolved quickly.

Daniel and Katrina are already good friends. They are good people, easy to communicate and very helpful. They were impeccable in welcoming my family into their home. I highly recommend them!

This place is beautiful, with amazing breakfast of eggs, bacon, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread, and lots of other treats. It was a real highlight at a time flexible to you. The gardens and surrounds are stunning as well as the pool & terrace. We stayed as a group of 10 mid 40s ladies and had a fab time.. just not long enough. The breakfast staff were lovely. The rooms with all their ensuite bathrooms were brilliant and the sound insulation was impressive. The host was also very informative and responsive. Don't hesitate just book it!

Our group of 9 stayed for 3 nights in May, and Marissa’s place exceeded all of our expectations, behind an unassuming door next to a mini supermarket was an oasis of style and tranquility, each room individually decorated with quirky artefacts and quality furniture. Everything was spotless, and the bathroom had everything you could possibly need, we didn’t use the kitchens ( only for coffee) but they looked pretty well equipped. Our favourite spot was a gorgeous terrace garden where we could all meet in the morning for the debrief of the night before, so pretty with lots of stunning plants and flowers. The photos on the website do not do this place justice, it’s just wonderful. The guide book of information was well thought out and very helpful for restaurant recommendations and things to do. The location is excellent, with everything in walking distance, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Thank you Marissa and son for unforgettable stay.

Fantastic space, was a great stay with 5 adults and a baby. Rita was so accommodating and easy to deal with. The place is large with a lovely living area. Wish we had booked for longer than 4 nights! Highly recommend.

Definitely a vacation to repeat, I recommend it to those looking for peace, tranquility and nature! The house is very well equipped, decorated and has an amazing view! During our stay we were also able to enjoy the delicious fruit that is at Quinta de Fundevila (where the house is located). Regarding the location, it could not be better, in a few minutes' walk you are in the center of Arco de Baúlhe or the old train station, where there is no shortage of things to see and explore. It should be noted that the restaurants in the area are all very good, as well as the bakery and are just minutes from the house. Regina and Alberto are very attentive and warm hosts, they spoiled us so much! Thank you so much for everything, we miss it already <3

Villa is really amazing and definitely fits the description and photos. The sunsets and the lighthouse, which you could marvel at every night from the balcony, are a dream. It's perfect for guests who want a quiet environment. A car is definitely needed and can be safely parked in the garage. The amenities of the entire place are excellent. There are even two extra guest bathrooms. In addition, communication with Portugal Active was always quick and friendly. We lacked nothing.

A genuinely perfect holiday home. Stunning location, wonderful pool, amazing to have a grass 5-a-side football pitch for the kids. Host was helpful, flexible and kind.

We loved the villa and its surroundings and Angela and Mario couldn’t have been more helpful. It is a short car journey into Mirandela where there are some great restaurants - recommended by our host. They were terrific value as well compared to restaurant prices in Porto! Unfortunately I picked up a head cold in Porto and had little energy to explore the local tracks. It’s a great place to stay with easy access to Tua Natural Parc and the Douro Valley, I would highly recommend it to our friends and family.

My stay at this house was absolutely wonderful. From the moment of my arrival, I felt right at home. The house is spacious, bright and very pleasantly decorated. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. The location is perfect for exploring the area, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. The host was very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and recommending amazing places to visit. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a unique and welcoming experience on their trip. I will repeat without hesitation!
