Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. Stayed for about 10 days, and enjoyed every minute. Thank you very much to Pedro and his family.

Luís had me feel welcome from the start! I had trouble navigating myself, but Luís assisted me and I got there in the end :) the house is so cute, perfect situated and has everything you need. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for tranquility! Luís Shop, filled with local goods and especially his world class chestnut honey is definitely worth a stop while you’re there.

Beautiful home located in a small village but close to everything . Lake Azibo for hiking, Macedo de Cavaleiro for refueling, everything you need for a very nice stay. We did not regret our choice . Let's recommend it without hesitation

What an incredible place! This would have to be one of the best Airbnb I have stay at! It was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed. Daniela was the most incredible host. Not only did she give us incredible suggestions, she helped book a few things for us. She went out of her way constantly to make sure we were able to enjoy the area. She made our experience in the Duo Valley incredible and very memorable.

It felt like home when we returned after 6 six years. The place of Laurence & Jorge is in line with the pictures and the view is amazing. The house has everything you need, we really loved the mattresses and the pillows. The house is surrounded by a large garden, and we liked the privacy and the fruit trees in the garden. Getting into the house is easy and communication is perfect. We will definitely return again! We recommend to do some groceries before you arrive, the nearest supermarket is a 15 min drive away. We were a couple with a small dog for 6 nights in Aida's accommodation. Aida is a great hostess and was always available to us. The house has charm and a great view. However, we would have booked the house two days less if we had known in advance that on the last two days there would still be manual work on their neighboring house (owned by the family). Otherwise, it's a great quiet oasis to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommended.

This is truly one of the most beautiful and unique places we have ever stayed, a piece of paradise handmade by Armenio. The former watermill has been beautifully converted into a fine BnB with a comfortable bathroom and a great bed. The first night, it takes some getting used to for us city dwellers to fall asleep to the sound of a waterfall, but after that you sleep wonderfully. You imagine yourself alone in the world in this small green paradise, which is beautifully landscaped in every way: the terraces, the outdoor kitchen, everything is wonderful. Armenio is extremely friendly and helpful. The dirt road to this oasis is quite challenging and long for a simple car and that is actually the only thing that could deter a hesitant motorist from choosing this place. We were not deterred at all and we are glad that this is the case. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely return

A serene, calming place to stay in the Douro Valley. The home is spacious, well kept, and charming. We faced some challenges on this trip, and Anabela was so kind and understanding, always responding and offering helpful suggestions and advice. The fresh bread delivery and treats waiting for us made everything better. The backyard was a highlight for the kids. The pool was a little chilly for us in early June, but the weather started getting hotter as left, so I’m sure it would be comfortable in the later part of the season. We had a wonderful stay!

One of the highlights was dinner prepared by Jet and Ronald. I highly recommend this as part of the experience. We shared an amazing meal with other guests, and there was a lot of info from Ron about the local wines from the region. I missed out on Jet’s breakfast, but heard amazing things from the other guests in another studio at the property. Great place and great people.

Maria's home is a hidden gem! It is an absolutely beautiful location. The views do not even seem real; the photos do not do it justice. You are nestled in the valley and feel like part of nature. The home itself is so cozy, kitchen with everything you could ever need, and a cozy sitting area. There are large windows all across the valley view side of the house, so you can literally see the gorgeous view from wherever you are. The outside area is equally beautiful. I saved the best for last: the unbelievable hospitality of our hosts. I have never met such kind people. From the welcome upon our arrival, to the communication we had through messaging, we were met with nothing but extreme kindness. Thank you so much, Maria and Maria!! You have my highest recommendation.

We had a great and peaceful time at Joao's beautiful stone house up in hills. The deck is absolutely gorgeous to hang out with friends and family. We loved the quietness of place. There are no nearby restaurants so make sure to plan the trip accordingly, otherwise it's awesome place to relax unwind and chill.

We had a great weekend with a group of friends with children! The house is very large and the pool area and the barbecue area are very good! Recommended!

A beautiful place among olive and almond trees. If you are looking for a healing in the middle of nature, with beautiful walking paths available, this place is for you. The house is clean with all the essentials for a good stay. Joachim is a pleasant and responsive host. A 100% recommendable stay.

The house is ideal for nature lovers! It is very cool inside and has all the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. The river below is perfect for cooling off and other spots are within walking or driving distance by the road that passes in front of the house (little traffic, mainly farmers and locals who are very warm). We would have stayed much longer!

We loved the villa and its surroundings and Angela and Mario couldn’t have been more helpful. It is a short car journey into Mirandela where there are some great restaurants - recommended by our host. They were terrific value as well compared to restaurant prices in Porto! Unfortunately I picked up a head cold in Porto and had little energy to explore the local tracks. It’s a great place to stay with easy access to Tua Natural Parc and the Douro Valley, I would highly recommend it to our friends and family.

The house was perfect. The area around the house was even better. It's an awesome option to stay away from noise and rush. The assistance was also great. All our questions were answered in advance and during the stay. I highly recommend this place, and I'll be glad to come back. Note: there are up to 5 big dogs outside the house. If you're planning to come with your dogs, keep in mind that it will be difficult/impossible to spend time with them outside.

We enjoyed pur stay at Maria's place a lot! Very cozy stay in the countryside close to the river. We checked in veeery late (01:00) and Maria allowed us to postpone breakfast time. Very comfortable experience! Everything is exceptionally clean. My recommendation!
