Quiet,comfortable, safe. The entrance to the police station is literally across the street. Beautiful area.

Samantha is an incredible host! She made us feel most welcome and gave great local advice as it was our first visit to Oxford and we were attending University sporting events. Our suite was spacious, comfortable and pristine. Breakfast was delicious and a wonderful treat as we had full days planned. We loved Oxford and enjoyed retreating to Moonlight and Magnolias to relax and refuel!

The magnolia suites are a beautiful place to stay in Pascagoula. We enjoyed the decoration and the breakfast with Evelyne.

Our host was awesome. We sat and talked for a little bit at check in. He even gave us the history of the Inn and how his family came to own and name the different rooms.

Great boutique hotel! I stayed in the Key West suite and my travel companion stayed in the Cape Cod suite. The downstairs is beautifully decorated and feels like a real southern antebellum home. The outside has charming gardens and walkways with lots of porch space and rocking chairs. 3 minute walk to popular bars and restaurants (I ate at Jack’s by the Tracks) tucked away in a very quiet old neighborhood. Host, Amy was super helpful and gracious, and Ms Evelyn made sure I didn’t leave for work without my coffee. I will be booking The Grand Magnolia again, for sure!

We loved the house, our room was comfortable, the bed was great! We especially enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the evening with our wine, and equally enjoyed our coffee in the morning overlooking the garden. Thank you!

Amy’s place was very cute, cozy, and comfy. The room and bathroom were very spacious. Everything was clean. We did not utilize the “breakfast” options so I have no feedback except I wish coffee would have been available before 8am since we had an early morning to get on the road. I did hear the train through the night but it did not bother my husband at all.

The staff was all very friendly and quickly responded to our questions. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and sitting on the porch and visiting with family. We all admired the decor and artwork hung around the house. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Truly the most responsive host I’ve ever had! She communicated with me upfront about every detail of the property and even tried to find us a more suitable property with amenities that we had requested! Everything about this property and the host is incredible. Can’t wait to stay again!!! Thanks so much to everyone involved on the velvet ditch team!!!!!!!

This is a simple, yet well put together hotel that provides everything you need for an easy stay.

Loved the place! We decided to stay on the coast, and booked quickly! Nice and clean. We loved the night swim too. Close to the Hollywood casino, Waffle House, Walmart, anything we needed. We loved that we had a later check out time even though we left early. Great host communication too! We will be returning!

Shaunda was who I communicated with the most on the day of our arrival and she was very informative and responsive. Easy check-in and out. We enjoyed our stay and the beautiful surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great place. Very clean. Comfy bed. Definitely need a driver unless you plan to drive to campus or town. Would stay here again.

Pretty good room, nice and clean and has everything you would need for a little trip. Really liked the fridge in my room; it was larger than. I expected. The location is in a sort of run down area and kinda noisy but I was able to sleep. There are also stray dogs and cats around the motel; I saw plates and I think someone is feeding the strays. This can be hard if you have pets who don’t like other dogs or cats. Wish they would trap and give them to a shelter instead of feeding.

We loved our stay here!! 💕 It was quiet, peaceful, and just what we were looking for to get away for the weekend 🥰 Grounds were very clean, our room was clean, we loved that we had 24 hour access to snacks and drinks, and the pool was so refreshing! 🌊 Staff were so friendly to us and chatted at the pool and were very personable! We will def be back again sometime!!

Olivia went above and beyond for us. Whatever we needed she was so helpful and so nice.

Great place to stay for a few days. Full kitchen and full size refrigerator was very useful. Lots of room upstairs. Air conditioning and fans worked perfectly. We never got hot even though it was hot outside. Wry relaxing place that was also only a couple of minutes near lots of dining, shopping, and the beach. Highly recommended.

This was a great location to shopping, restaurants, and a short drive to the beach. We had a great time and will return!

Kimberly was an excellent host! Easy to communicate with and gave great recommendations for the area! The home and property were beautiful. Would absolutely recommend to stay at the Mockingbird Inn.

Loved having coffee in room. Maybe some snacks downstairs in common area. We would definitely rent again.
