Barn accommodation in Missouri River

Very nice place to stay and get away from city life. Enjoyed the cherry trees being in season while I was there.

We have been staying at Carisa's place for years and it's always an awesome experience. We love Galesville and the surrounding area. This year we were really excited to bring our 8 month old for the first time. Carisa provided a brand new pack and play, making it one less thing we had to bring. We felt super at home and can't wait to return!

Such a unique spot! We loved the fun vintage decor, the plethora of coffee options, and hanging out with the chickens on the porch. The location was peaceful and remote, but it was a very short drive to downtown Ames.

Our group had a wonderful time. The barn loft accommodations were cozy & everything was well thought out for guests staying. We had wonderful weather & spend the entire day at the swimming pond. It was great for our girls trip & I can say my kids would have loved it as well.

This place was so cute! I was impressed with all of the details...all about chicken and roosters. It was spacious and exactly what I needed. Tim was always very responsive whenever I had a question.

Very homey and comfy. Enjoyed the outdoor space and watched the deer.

Linda was wonderful to communicate with, she and her husband were very kind to our son who has special needs. We appreciated that Linda took time to be with us so we could spend time with one of her well mannered horses. We love the country setting and will be returning soon.

Beautiful location. Great host. It was a great jumping off point for the beautiful nature in the area. It was very private and peaceful. I can't remember if it was specifically mentioned in the listing, but the bathroom facilities were separate from the cottage. It was an outdoor shower, but had hot water. The toilet was not a flushable unit, but was an incinerator model. First one like that we'd ever tried! It was fine. We were able to ride our bikes from the cottage to Grand Targhee resort. Very fun!

Codee & Noah were super friendly and welcoming! Very comfortable living space, ice maker, nice beds with endtables to plug phones into, and pleasant bathroom. Had nice arrangements for a dog. The cookware was in great shape. Everything labeled so can find things readily in the kitchen. All on one floor, making it easy to get things into the house.

Everything was very nice, Blessed was very communicative through the entire process and even checked in halfway through our stay. We will likely try to stay there again next year when we attend our conference.

Had a great weekend. 30 minutes from downtown Lawrence.

Amazing location for an Autumnal getaway. Centrally located to Crested Butte, Marble, Avalanche Ranch, etc. Bill was extremely accommodating and communicative. Thanks so much for having us! Only downside is the proximity to the road, which is gravel, and super wash-boarded. Pretty loud. That aside, a perfect stay. 😊

We just wrapped up our third(!) stay at The Mill. Mike and Sheila are great hosts who went out of their way to help us feel welcome. Mike quickly responds to any questions. They have thought of every amenity we might need and even had some items in the fridge and throughout the smartly decorated cabin that made our stay extra special. The place is spotless and that is VERY high on our list. If you like a peaceful country setting with abundant wildlife yet within driving distance to a quaint small town with good restaurants, this is your kind of place. We highly recommend and hope to return for our fourth visit soon.

We had such a lovely stay at the Little House on the Farm! Patrick was incredibly responsive—always replying within minutes—and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The house was spotless, and despite visiting during a 90+ degree heat wave, the barn stayed remarkably cool, which we really appreciated. We were traveling with a 4-year-old and a 5-month-old, and the setup was perfect for young kids. Our 4-year-old had the best time exploring the property, playing on the swing set, and visiting the animals. One of the highlights for us as parents was how accommodating Patrick was—when I asked about a squeaky glider rocker (an essential for middle-of-the-night rocking sessions, IYKYK!), he came over right away and fixed it. That kind of care and attention really made a difference. We would absolutely stay here again. It was peaceful, super clean, bug-free, and full of charm. Highly recommend!

we did a girls trip and stayed 4 days. this was the most peaceful location. Meg and her family are amazing and super friendly. the animals on-site are the sweetest babies to have as a bonus. the location is great as you are 20 min drive to Denver. I loved the view and the total experience. I will definitely be staying again

This place was absolutely stunning! My bridesmaids and I stayed here for my wedding weekend in stillwater. Jake and Abby were flexible with check-in/check-out. The place was clean and so beautiful. Would highly recommend! Thanka Jake & Abby

The Holm was perfect for a mini friend reunion as we were all in town for a wedding! The sauna and 10 minute drive to the winery venue definitely sold us on the property. But it was also peaceful and charming with enough beds for what we needed. I almost wish we would have booked another night so we could enjoy all the little hangout spots outdoors!

Benjamin’s place made for the perfect home base to watch our grandson playing in a baseball tournament at nearby Dyersville and the Field of Dreams. The accommodations were stylish and squeaky clean. The bed was super comfy. We felt right at home. Epworth is a beautiful small town. Rosie’s coffee shop across the street is handy, plus it’s got a cool vibe. We couldn’t have been more pleased!

Host had great communication. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. Would stay there again.

Staying here at Melody & Edin’s place was nothing short of amazing. From booking everything was so easy, the views were absolutely incredible, the privacy was great, the location was spectacular, we loved being able to call this place home. We have three wild & free children, they are loud and love to just go go go. At the house our kids were able to be loud and run around the yard, feed the horses and ride their bikes up and down the driveways. We loved being out at melody & edins place so much. If you’re looking for a getaway with great views and some peace and quiet, come here! Not to mention that melodys cookies were delicious!! Thanks again for hosting our family!
