Tea farm B&B (farm-to-table meals & tour included)

GeorgeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A wonderful place up in the mountains of Kyoto. You can feel the city fade away and you are enveloped by the smell of grass and sweet tea. The tea tour was extremely fun and interesting. Daiki has excellent answers to any of your questions, and the tea and food is delicious. I enjoyed it so much that I returned 2 years later. tea moon is a wonderfully restored traditional Japanese house that is cozy clean and quiet. You can wake up with a tea bath and a beautiful view of the fields. I would rate higher if possible. Worth every dollar

Very peaceful place to stay. Do not visit if you don't have a car. Keiko was a wonderful host providing us with an authentic Japanese breakfast, which at times was a bit much but very tasty indeed. Do not visit if you enjoy city life because this is very far away from any such business.

遊庵

KenjiRating, 5 stars34 months ago
I was anxious because I stayed in mid-summer and there was no air conditioner, but the previous email communication was smooth, the response during my stay was smooth, and I had a comfortable time.We definitely slept comfortably at night without a cooler. There was a lot of weather, but the rain view from the window was also interesting, and I enjoyed my time at home. On a sunny day, you can BBQ and play in the garden, and enjoy the stars and the moon at night. Kitchen and bath were clean and easy to use. I would like to experience a firewood stove in the winter.

Kamenarien:Friendly folk house inn with chickens

AlfredRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The hosts are wonderfully friendly in sharing their country lifestyle. The hut is very large and would have room for many people. The hut is very much as described, with the exception that instead of a wood stove the were kerosene heaters which we needed to use as it was chilly. Unfortunately these heaters made an unpleasant smell.
