Location Opened in May 2024. Located in the heart of Takayama's historic district, Makoto-ya Ojin is a stylish inn in 1-chome, Ojin-cho, Takayama City, where the good old Japanese landscape remains. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). A model home of a construction company that builds wooden houses in Kiso, Shinshu.Located at the entrance to the vacation home area of the Kiso-Komagahara Highlands, it offers a sense of openness as it blends into the natural surroundings. Experience the warmth and aroma of wood, with Kiso cypress pillars, Kiso cypress flooring, and Kiso larch beams. In winter, heating is provided by a wood-burning stove and solar thermal energy. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely. 中山道の宿場町である奈良井宿の隣町に位置し、江戸時代から木曽漆器の産地として栄えた歴史ある町並み。重伝建保存地区に選定され、現在も漆器店が並んでいるこの町に、1931年に建てられました。 私たちの家は、お食事なしの一日一組限定、一棟貸し切りにてご利用頂いています。アクセスにも少し時間がかかり、スーパーやコンビニもないこの地域ですが、だからこそこの場所には、静かさと何気ない素朴な日々の美しさがあると思います。読書、散歩、地酒（日本酒・ワイン）を頂く、ゆっくり寝て起きるなど古きよきこの町で暮らすように滞在して頂けたら嬉しいです。 山の谷間の古民家で網戸はありませんので、暖かい季節になれば自然の生き物が入ってくることもあります。築95年の建物は細部までぴかぴかに磨き上げれている訳ではありません。できるだけ清潔にと思いお迎えの準備をさせて頂いておりますが、大きなお心でお越し頂けると幸いです。 皆さまに頂いたご宿泊費は建物の修繕に使わせて頂いていて、この素晴らしい家をまた次の世代に引き継げるように、まずは私が20年ほど大切に守っていきたいと思っています。
