Enjoy the countryside. ■ Large house where you can relax ・ The main house of the accommodation building is a two-story building with a total floor area of 266 m². ・ On the first floor, there is a living room with a wood-burning stove, a dining room, a sunken hearth room, a large Japanese-style room with two adjoining rooms, a small raised floor, a kitchen, a bathroom, a washroom, and two toilets. ・ There are 2 large and small floored Western-style rooms, a toilet, and a washroom on the 2nd floor. ■ Eat in your own style I want you to enjoy the meal you want, such as a meal cooked in the sunken hearth or a BBQ. Feel free to bring in your own food and enjoy self-catering on your trip. ■ Pets allowed Please use the entrance floor and hall (about 20 tatami mats in size). Rocking in a hammock, strolling through the garden, enjoying the scent of over 50 herbs and seasonal flowers, lying barefoot and earthing (removing electromagnetic waves), and sweating in the sauna will boost your immune system. You can experience the pleasant breeze that passes through the trees, the sunlight that shines through the trees, the morning sun, the clear streams, and the birds chirping to your heart's content. Building features The wooden house has a single-flow roof with a loft, plaster walls, and plenty of Kiso cypress, and you will be soothed by the scent of cypress.

Nagano Kisoji | A luxurious house carefully renovated with the tastes and culture of 1931

We basically accept reservations for 2 nights or more because we want you to stay in a historic town in the mountains for a while. Located in the town next to Narai-juku, a post town on the Nakasendo Road, it is a historic town that has prospered as a producer of Kiso lacquerware since the Edo period. It was built in 1931 in a town that has been selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Historic Buildings and still has lacquerware shops. Limited to one group per day without meals, the entire building is available for rent. I think the charm of Hirasawa is the beauty and richness of everyday life. I would be happy if you could stay in this old town as if you were living here, reading, taking a walk, drinking local sake (sake and wine), sleeping and waking up slowly. We also post about our daily life on social media, so please take a look. There is no screen door in the old house in the valley of the mountain, so in the warm season, natural creatures may come in. The building from 1993 is not polished to the last detail. We are preparing to welcome you as cleanly as possible, but we would appreciate it if you could come with an open mind.

A model house of a construction company that builds wooden houses in Kiso, Shinshu. It is located at the entrance of the vacation home area of Kiso Komakogen and has an open feeling that blends into nature. An infinite sea of stars. A summer resort at an altitude of about 900 m. Feel the warmth and scent of the wood with Kiso cypress pillars, Kiso cypress flooring, and Kiso larch beams. In winter, it is heated with a firewood stove and solar heat. How about reading in a hammock? There is a construction office and a restaurant run by the construction office on site, and you can also have lunch. We also have a desk workspace, so you can use it for business trips, telework, etc. Please work surrounded by nature. We will ask you to fill in the contact information for everyone at check-in.

A spacious, 221-year-old private house in the center of Tsumagojuku!

This is an old house built 221 years ago, located in the center of Tsumago-juku. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely. Equipped with WiFi and an automatic lifting table, teleworking is also possible for long-term stays. Please have a relaxing time in this quiet old house. We look forward to seeing you ！

It is a 10-minute drive to the Komagatake Ropeway bus stop, making it the perfect location for mountain climbing, skiing, and learning about Japanese rural life. Sake and miso factories are also close by. The altitude is about 700 m and the stars are beautiful at night if the weather is clear. We also offer free bicycle rentals (2 bikes) for those who wish. The hosts are an Italian and Japanese couple who can speak English, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese. Why not come and visit an Italian family in Minamishinshu?

Good access to Shimosuwa Station! We renovated an 80-year-old Japanese house into a traditional and clean space. (New open in 2023!) You can spend a comfortable time by renting the entire building. Recommended for families, couples and small groups. This area is rich in history and nature. Suwa Taisha Shrine, hot springs, Nakasendo. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.

HAKU is a Japanese Style Villa. You can enjoy your private time as in your home. “HAKU“ is one of the readings of the character “百” which means “hundred”. Medieval Haiku poet, Basho Matsuo likened eternal passage of time to "百代の過客", a permanent traveller. In his time, a hundred years was expressed as eternal. HAKU was originally built as a farmer’s shed about a hundred years ago. It was recently relocated and renovated for another hundred years. HAKU will welcome you as traveling companions.
