It was a clean and spacious room, and it was very comfortable. It was friendly and helpful to respond to messages quickly. I stayed for two nights, but the price was friendly and I was very satisfied.I want to stay again.

Other than the fact that the internet was difficult to connect, it was very good!

Wonderful accommodation. Very large and relatively new. Floor, bathroom very clean (cleaner than average in Japan). A small highlight: there is a small temple right in the garden!

"WabiSabi" house Room Garden/Skytree/Asakusa

BenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Clean, comfortable, cosy tatami room in a restored traditional Japanese home. Located in a quiet, very local suburb. Tetsuya and Kayo are great hosts. The walls are thin but this is not uncommon and should be expected for a traditional house, and Tetsuya thoughtfully provides ear plugs. Highly recommend

I needed somewhere to stay during my cycle trip and it was a good location for me. It was comfortable and I could rest for my next day cycling. The food was amazing, there was too much I couldn't eat it all! There is also a very friendly yappy dog.

Simple, economical, but restful rooms (Japanese-style rooms, non-smoking, about 10.9 ㎡)

This is very much a very traditional Japanese set up and the description was accurate. Masa was able to check me in early which made a huge difference and the room was big enough to make myself comfortable. More importantly, the WiFi was very fast so I was able to work without any interruptions.

Ryo is an incredibly warm and welcoming host. He kindly offered pick-up and drop-off service from the nearby station, which made everything so convenient. Upon arrival, he greeted me with welcome tea and snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room is full of lovely details—from a world map where guests from around the globe have marked their hometowns, to a beautifully organized guide with local tips and recommendations. You can truly feel the heart he puts into hosting. The area under Mt. Fuji is absolutely stunning, and Ryo’s place made the experience even more special. I’d love to come back again—highly recommended to anyone visiting this area!
