Casa do Tanque T1-Vila de Arouca

Casa do Tanque, formerly a traditional family home, was recently renovated to provide those who visit us with an atmosphere of comfort and well-being. Located in the heart of the Geopark on one of the village's typical streets, where it is possible to visit the Calvary, it gets its name from bordering the "Tanque da Rua D'Arca" that preserves the memory of the washerwomen who secreted their lives there. Its location allows you to enjoy the historical, cultural and gastronomic heritage of our Village, without needing a car.

Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro - Douro House

Casa do Douro is part of a group of houses located in Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro. Taking advantage of the privileged location and view, the guest is in permanent contact with the river and the vineyard. The single house, duplex, has a common room on the 1st floor equipped with a complete Kitchenette, TV and Wi-Fi. It has a generous balcony with a table, next to the living room with a fantastic view of the Douro River, widely used for meals and at the end of the day. Visit a traditional Douro Valley estate!

Small rural stone house restored with private garden and parking, offers tranquillity and a stunning view to Serra da Freita and Frecha da Mizarela waterfall. Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

Casa da Mouta - Douro Valley

House with 2 bedrooms and a living room ideal for families, overlooking the Douro River. This is a unique space, with stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding nature. Ideal for a weekend of adventure! Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. On the other hand, the sound of nature takes on a fantastic dimension, with the river water and birds surrounding us completely. Access is made (in the last 500 meters) by land and it is necessary to pay attention to the directions we provide so that you do not get lost.
