The area is incredible, peaceful and the view spectacular. Asciano has the delightful charm of an Italian village. The people were friendly and welcoming. Even got greeted by their local police who offered up their number in case we needed anything. I felt safe, and it felt as if I lived there for years. I’d say this is a piece of heaven on earth. Bellezza maestosa! Non vedo l'ora di visitare di nuovo la Toscana e la città di Asciano! Grazie!

Our stay at La Casa dell Abate was truly wonderful and memorable and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys beauty and comfort off the beaten path. From the moment we arrived, Allesio was welcoming, friendly, showed us around the home and offered tips on what to do. He will also offer you the opportunity for a pasta class or gourmet dinner which is prepared by their friend Francesco, in the private garden/outdoor kitchen. We really enjoyed this experience. Their home is beautifully decorated yet maintains the charm of the 16th century in which the village was built. We slept great in the peaceful surroundings and the comfortable beds with nice linens. This place is even more beautiful than the photos show! We are travelling round Italy for our honeymoon and this has been our highlight. From the amazing grounds to the incredible food at the little restaurant it’s all been perfect. Thank you Marian for excellent communication and being so accommodating. Wow! What a stay! What beautiful hosts - and what a spot. Beautiful views over an expansive valley- tasteful super clean accomodation and great hosts - We loved meeting Coen and Laura - they waited especially to meet us and made us so welcome. Only sorry they were leaving that day and we couldn't spend more time together The villa is set in a breathtaking location and is tastefully renovated and laid out. We had everything we needed to cook for the family in the villa and lots of options for eating out locally. We had air con in all the rooms which in the heat was a real plus. We swam and played in the pool day and night and enjoyed meeting the neighbours there. I can't say enough good things about Casa Luna and our hosts. We loved the proximity to the rest of Umbria and Tuscany - meravigliosa!

Beautiful house in beutiful country side with spectacular view. My family couldn't get enough of it and we started all mornings sitting on the veranda with our morning coffee looking at this beutiful view. We loved the pool and our grandchildren too. We will be back.

We especially loved waking up to the peaceful surroundings. It truly felt like a retreat. My husband and I absolutely loved staying here! We felt like we were on on honeymoon, in a private cottage scene in Tuscany, with a private pool and easy access to everything we wanted to see. Mari and Marcella were very kind and we even had our room cleaned and they gifted a beautiful bottle of Chianti wine! The town of Lucignano is very close and we went to dinner there several times thanks to recommendations by Mari :). We drove to both Florence and Rome during our stay - we rented a car to be able to do this. Tuscany is very spread out but we knew that and were prepared. You cannot beat the "This is home" feeling of this villa and the friendly hosts. We will be back! :)
