Magic Island: Cabin & Beach Sauna on Your Own Island

Welcome to experience of the unique Taikasaari, located in Väärinjärvi, Ruovesi! The island's cottage and beach sauna were built in the 1950s and renovated with modern amenities. The entire 2000 m² island is for your private use, without any visual contact with other cottages or houses. The cottage has electricity, but no running water. The wood sauna has carrying water and a water pot for heating the water. The sauna terrace has direct access to the lake. The toilet is an outdoor toilet. Please note that the property is not suitable for small children.

Traditional cottage in Näsijärvi

This cozy cabin is by Lake Näsijärvi. The cabin has electricity and running water. The sauna’s water tank heats up washing water in the traditional way—so there is no shower. Water is shallow at the cottage but totally suitable for swimming. An outhouse is about 15 meters from the cabin. The lake is 10 meters from the porch. Parking next to the cabin. A rowing boat and two SUP boards are available. The town of Virrat is 16 km away, and the nearest grocery store, K-Market Visuvesi, is 5 km away.

In the livingroom/kitchen of the cottage you find a double sofa-bed with extra matress for 2 persons. Separate toilet and wood-heated sauna with shower. 10m2 terrace with furniture and lake view. Fully equipped kitchen, gas-barbecue, rowing-boat, Wi-Fi. Very nice, quiet and cosy place for a couple to spend a holiday.

Kohteeseen pääsee myös bussilla. Huvilassa kaikki nykypäivän mukavuudet, kuten sisävessa ja suihku. Majoittumaan mahtuu 4 aikuista ja yksi lapsi. Rantasauna on käytössä lisämaksusta (25€). Palju (joka on myös lisämaksullinen 25€) on käytössä kesäaikaan (1.5-30.9).

The apartment is separated from other spaces and has its own entrance, so you can come and go in peace. Of course, we will help you if you have any questions.
