Peaceful stay for a week. Beautiful elevated location with panoramic views. Rocabella restaurant at the bottom of the track was great if you dont feel like venturing out far, with a varied menu from light bites to main dishes with burgers, steaks and fish.. My advice would would be to grab some basic groceries from a supermarket prior to going up to the house i.e coffee, bread eggs , drinks etc. I travelled with my ederly mother and the accomodation was suitable for our needs as she is unable to manage steps. There is one twin room downstairs with a bathroom and walk in shower which is next to the kitchen , lounge and outside patio so easy access for her with limited mobility. its would not be suitable for a wheelchair however. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee to relish the sun rise and sunsets, and also affording privacy if travelling with others in your group. I throughly enjoyed my stay. 😊

Very pleasant chalet close to activities while quiet. Mayte is very pleasant and accessible for any questions. The jacuzzi is very pleasant in the late afternoon to relax with a breathtaking view! The most important thing for us is the cleanliness and comfort of the bed and we had it at Mayte's 🤗

We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

We had a fantastic weekend in Monte Naturivo! The accommodation is surrounded by beautiful nature and is the perfect place to relax. Everything was absolutely clean and very well maintained - you can see how much love is put into every detail here. We were particularly enthusiastic about the great pool, the relaxing hammam and the beautiful yoga room - ideal for switching off and feeling good. The hostess was incredibly friendly and warm, we felt welcome from the first moment. Monte Naturivo is truly a special place that we can highly recommend to everyone.

We stayed here for 4 weeks (family of 3) and it was the most wonderful holiday! So peaceful and quiet, well equipped house and a lovely pool. The beds are really comfortable and the aircon in the bedrooms was brilliant. Cómpeta is a beautiful town and worth a visit. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

This cottage with swimming pool (and jacuzzi!) on top of the mountain in Coín is really a paradise. Ideal for a relaxing family vacation. The road to it is spicy, but once you are, this is the perfect base for trips to Malaga, Ronda, Marbella, Granada,...

We had a wonderful week at casa Fuentezuelas. The house and it’s surroundings were even more beautiful than the pictures showed. Breathtaking view and very peaceful. The house was very clean and charming and had everything we needed.

I cannot rate this place high enough. It’s a slice of heaven and a place of dreams. If you want to get away from the world but be close enough to be in Malaga within 15 minutes, I don’t think you can do better. The work and effort that Juan and Ana have put into this place is outstanding. It’s secluded, it’s peaceful, it’s surrounded by beautiful vistas. It’s only 15 minutes from the outskirts of Malaga, but you feel in your own, private world. From here I visited Malaga, Ronda, Cordoba and Granada. I also spent days doing nothing at all, just laying by the pool or swimming, relaxing in peace and reading. It’s such a wonderful place. May I please say a particular thanks to Juan, who is the most charming and friendly host you can hope to meet. The pride and passion he has for the home and the area is incredible. He was an absolute pleasure. Kind hearted and patient while I practiced my terrible Spanish on him. I look forward to returning and miss being there already.

Such an amazing stay! We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. If you are looking for a modern, luxury home, this may not be for you. For us, it was absolutely perfect! The house was clean and everything is provided that is needed. The location is ideal: quietly situated. You are at ease, private. The swimming pool is a great asset: pure enjoyment. If I can say 1 point that was perhaps a little less, it is that the toilet and shower are located outside the cottage. (if you have to go to the toilet at night or something) but in itself not disturbing for us. When we had questions, we also received an immediate answer via message. We are very satisfied with our stay and would not hesitate to come back :-)

The stay at Angel's place "Las Lavaderas" was excellent. Due to the quiet and private atmosphere, we have recovered perfectly. A perfect place to relax. The house is equipped with everything you need. The communication with Angel worked perfectly, friendly and always timely.

This was one of the best holidays we have had. The mountains are incredibly beautiful, the town is not too far away, Malaga is great for beaches, town, restaurants, shopping and history! Juan is very friendly and happy to help and manager Jenni is always on hand to answer questions and visit to make sure that everything is going smoothly. The pool is compact but still wonderful for a dip at any time. It is clean and very well maintained. The terrace is beautiful to sit at all times. This is a wonderful place. Thank you for our stay!

It is a fantastic country house with all the comforts of a normal house. The children had a great time in the pool and everything is very well equipped. He also let us leave in the afternoon to take advantage of the day, which we greatly appreciate. We'll be back for sure!

The house was great - very spacious for four of us. The location is about 10 min from the end of the Caminito del Rey - we parked in El Chorro and appreciated not getting back on a shuttle bus to get to our car. The views are amazing and 360 around the house. It was hot weather while er were there but the AC works great, and plenty of shade by the pool. Groceries are not close by so stock up before you arrive! Juan was a great host!

A nice house in a beautiful location. The house is well equipped with all the necessities. The swimming pool is very private and really beautiful with the view. We saw 12 large birds of prey while we were sitting by the pool :) Very cool! A nice place as a base for visiting Ronda and Seville, for example.

Paqui and Jose Antonio were wonderful hosts and met us on arrival in a nearby restaurant to handover keys and direct us to the villa. The villa is superb and perfect for a quiet getaway which is exactly what we were after. It is just a short drive to the town of Coín which has an array of shops and restaurants. We ventured out for some great day trips including Ronda (hour drive west), Nerja (hour drive east), Malaga (30min drive) and a nice quiet beach (Playa del Peñón del Cuervo). The villa felt very spacious for the three of us and could easy accommodate more people. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need as well as an outdoor bbq and great seating. The three of us enjoyed returning to the villa after trips and relaxing round the pool each day. Would certainly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Malaga or the nearby areas and for those looking for a quiet getaway. We would write even more positive feedback if this section did not have a word limit!

We greatly enjoyed our stay in the apartment (studio) by the pool. Tastefully decorated, with everything you need to enjoy a carefree holiday. What a wonderful stay! The communication before and during our stay was very smooth, fast and pleasant. We were met on arrival at the agreed place by Gert & Bruno, from where they escorted us to the higher location where we were given a tour of the site by Gert. What a service! And on top of that, what a beautiful view. Upon arrival, a bottle of cold bubbles, eggs from their own chickens and quails, as well as lemons that came in handy for the salad and the Vermouth. Gert gave us great tips on what to do in the area, including for our trip to Malaga. And we enjoyed the four lovely dogs, each with their own character. We felt very much at home. Thank you for the flexibility and great time in your paradise!

Julie’s place is lovely! Rustic in a beautiful way, up in the mountains and close to the land. Being an eco lodge, it’s solar-powered with some constraints around energy use in the evenings, but this wasn’t an inconvenience for us, even as a group of 8 squeezing in. The outdoor area in particular is special - with a large dining table, grilling area, pool, and sports area, all with spectacular views of the surroundings. Julie is a wonderful host, incredibly kind, communicative and accommodating. If you stay at her place you’ll be in great hands

Alejandro is a helpful landlord who rents out a lovely house. What surprised us greatly was the presence of everything needed in a kitchen, from cutlery to cooking utensils. It was also very nice that the bbq was also complete, all that was missing were coals and you can bbq right away. The photos do not really do justice to the house, because it is even more beautiful in real life. Definitely recommended!

A great place to spend time with family, surrounded by mountains. Parents will find peace, while kids can have fun in the pool. Everyone enjoyed playing ping pong in the terrace. Inside the house, there’s enough space for two families. There are air conditioners in every room, although we didn’t use them at all – even when it was +30°C outside, the house stayed pleasantly cool. Arriving at the villa at night felt a bit extreme, so it’s important not to rely solely on navigation – pay attention to the signs as well, especially when you’re close to the villa. Jose is a very warm and friendly host 👌

We loved our stay at Juan's villa! It was very private with fantastic views. The property was so clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a really comfortable stay. The pool was lovely, the barbeque was great, and Juan was really responsive and helpful. We stayed here as a couple, but I could see that this place would also work really well for a family - it was very secure and peaceful, and was surrounded by orange trees. It was a great location for day trips and only 30 mins from the airport. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

This is the second time we have had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful place, and once again, it did not disappoint. The views are absolutely breathtaking, just as mesmerising as we remembered. Our hosts, Bruno and Meredith, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They struck the perfect balance, being hospitable and engaging without being intrusive. Their presence added a lovely touch to our stay, and we enjoyed some delightful chats with them, filled with wonderful stories. A car is definitely essential to reach the site and explore the surrounding area. During our stay, we visited Estapona Beach, which was simply stunning, and took a short 20-minute drive to the charming village of Gaucin. There, we enjoyed a quiet coffee at one of the quaint local coffee shops, soaking in the serene atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the swimming pool. We made sure to take a dip every day, and it was pure bliss. In the evenings, we savoured wine looking across the valley.
