The house was great for why we were there. The lodge room was awesome to be able to have everything one together. If you are staying here you know it’s farm country in the middle of nowhere so don’t expect much as far as amenities around but Brinkley is close with ok food options. Sheets were clean and smelled great. I wish we would have had a vacuum or better sweeping system to help with some of the mud tracked in from the snow and freeze thaw conditions but we did the best we could to keep it swept up. Would recommend some rugs at entry and some type of muddy boot containment to help with that for the host. Yard was messed up due to some plumbing changes that I’m sure will be back to normal after the winter weather is gone. Overall great stay for a duck/goose camp with family! Would stay here again if we come back out this way to hunt again.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The cabin was very peaceful and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The host was responsive, gave us tips before our stay, and checked in with us to make sure we were able to find and access the cabin successfully. I could not have imagined a better weekend with family!

This is a spacious home with an equally spacious backyard. It’s peaceful and comfortable. This is the second time our family has stayed and we hope to stay again in the future. Thank you Tony and Stephanie for being kind, responsive hosts!

We stayed one night at Jacks place and it was even better than expected! If I could give more stars I would. The place was extremely clean, looked new, and had everything we needed without extra items of clutter. Pawpaws place is about 1 mile from I-40 so it is super convenient on and off the interstate when traveling. We were headed to Tennessee from Houston and this overnight stay was perfect for our stopover. We will definitely stay there if we make that trip again!

Very satisfied with the stay. House was clean with close proximity to the boat ramp which was exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to fish or hunt at Maddox bay or white river refuge. Great place to stay

Love how convenient the parking is to the door! Quiet neighborhood and spacious house! Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. Big washer and dryer.
