Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Monroe County

The house was fantastic! The kitchen was fully equipped, and we loved having games for relaxing in the evenings. It comfortably accommodated all eight of us, with plenty of space so we never felt crowded. The yard was a real highlight—perfect for enjoying coffee and birdwatching each morning. Plus, Wildcat Mountain State Park is just a 15 minute drive away, and I highly recommend checking out Franklin Coffee House in Sparta!

Place was as described. LeAnne was very responsive and the area is a quaint place for a getaway. Would recommend

Cute little place and Michael was great! Very responsive and friendly!! We also enjoyed that there were soccer fields behind the house. We took our dogs to run and my daughter and I were able to go enjoy some time outside kicking the ball around.

A large home nicely situated in the middle of Amish country. On property’s creek we saw large trout, fished on Tomah lake and caught are limit of pan and perch fish, ride on the Lacrosse Queen for all you can eat pizza and drinks, spent a day at Wisconsin Dells Water Park, really enjoyed the property and home, we had supper and a bonfire nearly every night at the Newhaven Estate, counted nearly 90 deer to include one albino doe! Enjoyed saying hello to the cows, filled in our in between times with bike and golf cart rides. Great place and host recommend it to large families needing the space and area away from city distractions!

We had a great stay. The big jacuzzi tub was wonderful after a long day of cycling. Larry was kind enough to give us a short tour of his business which we found fascinating. We would stay here again without hesitation.

I had a fantastic stay. I come to the area once a year to show horses and I'll never stay anywhere else. The cabin was a humble peaceful place in a beautiful setting with a great host. Easy to follow rules and excellent communication. Feels like the middle of nowhere but minutes from the interstate. Patty has thought of everything you might need and it feels like staying with family. The water pressure in the shower was outstanding with plenty of hot water which was absolute heaven. The mattress was firm but I slept like a rock and woke up without my typical back pain so that's more of my preference than quality of the amenities. Next time I'll adjust my plans so I can spend more time enjoying the property and this beautiful area.

Chris was so amazing to work with for our temporary housing. Extremely responsive to all messages, gave us very detailed helpful instructions, accurate photos of what was included and we found the rental to be spotless clean! Comfortable stay. Great location - near everything and right in town, but still had a quiet country feel.

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful getaway spot! Donna and her crew are incredibly hospitable. We had a wonderful time during our stay! Absolutely recommend! Please take the time to look at the binder filled with pictures from when the cabins were built and post cards from early 1900s.. so cool!

This is a great cabin with beautiful views and lots to do! The cabin was spacious and exactly what our family of 15 needed. We found the cabin clean and with enough beds and towels. Hope to be back soon!

Our stay at Justin Trails Resort was beyond our expectations! We stayed in Little House on the Prairie after we got married in Sparta as a little getaway. Their property is absolutely gorgeous with an abundance of hiking trails and even disc golf. They had llamas, Rusty and Dusty, that were so fun to watch and feed them! Donna had breakfast prepared every morning with all fresh or homemade foods! It was excellent. We were lucky enough to bring our St. Bernard puppy along and she had so much fun hiking and playing with Donna’s dog, Heidi, in their dog play area. They were so accommodating to everything we needed. We couldn’t say enough great things about our stay here. It’s outstanding!
