Chalet holiday rentals in Mont Orford

very nice experience at the cottage - kids liked it and we had lots of games and puzzles to do on a rainy day. interior stair will be remebered :) saw lots of deer and two wild turkeys every day on the gravel road to keep in mind when driving. ski is few minutes alway with a car. most of the close by restaurants (30min away) open after thursdays, so we were goint at the owls head hotel restaurant- not bad but need reservation on a busy days. overall excelent 5 day ski vacation. kuddos to the owner.

Not sure I have recovered enough from the drive to respond to this yet but . . . When you spend time with family and have epic events for and with your grandson . . . Made possible by buy all those family members in and around a very nice place . . . Lots of HYGGE's to go around for everyone. Thanks for allowing it to happen in a great spot. Have a beauty day! I've read all the previous reviews because I wanted mine to be even more special. I don't have a pen as beautiful as most of these. But all I can tell you is that it was…….PARFAIT!!! The hosts were perfect , the refuge was perfect, the place was perfect, the trails were perfect, the deer was perfect... Thank you Denis and Diane, and see you next year for sure.

We had the most beautiful stay at the school house. You can tell the hosts put a lot of love into the place, there were so many little details to discover. The wood fire and the view onto the maple forest made for a very relaxing weekend. I am making plans to return to experience it in the summer too! Thank you Isabelle!

The space is cozy and perfect for a nature retreat. Communication was clear and I was easily able to contact Jean-Thomas when I had trouble finding the place (in the middle of a snowstorm, I must say!). The surrounding trails are beautiful and well maintained!

We had a beautiful stay here. Being Muslims, privacy was our priority, and we found the place very suitable and private. Had all basic equipments and necessities. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, as well as the rooms with extra linens and towels. The host was friendly and quick to respond. She had given us all required instructions before our check in by message, which made our check in super easy. The patio had good seating also. With the pool, sauna, and hot tub, we were able to have a great stay Alhamdulillah. The pool was to open from June and we had our stay in the last week of May, and so we requested for pool access and the host was nice enough to let us use it. Would definitely consider coming here again!

The place is beautiful. It conservation of a historic building with a sketch expansion. The terraces were superb and had a view of the lake. Everything was perfect we wish we had more time at the cottage even to enjoy more. Recommended

Sophie's chalet worked out very well for our group. We were 9 guys on a golf trip and it was suitable for our needs. Sophie was very responsive when needed. If we go back to Orford I would definitely stay again

We were three families staying here and found the place absolutely fantastic. First, the house is very spacious. Living area, bedrooms and bathrooms are large and accommodating. Everything is super clean. Second, it is well outfitted to serve a large group - there are enough chairs, big dining table, kitchen island and an extra table. There are plenty of dishes, cups and utensils to have a full meal, load the dishwasher and not wait for the cycle to end to have another. This is quite rare, I’ve found out. Third, a lot of thought went into providing things to make your stay comfortable. The owners strive to provide options for different needs. For example, each bedroom has both soft and firm pillows, there are several tv sets throughout the house etc. Mostly, when you think you need something, it’s usually there. We liked tasteful seasonal decor inside, and beautiful surroundings completed the picture . The house is truly special and we had a great time there.

The chalet was able to meet all of our needs exactly. The stay was very pleasant and Max was a very proactive and flexible host.

We had a wonderful stay with 13 guests, celebrating an upcoming wedding. Yanick and Claudia were quick too respond, and flexible when we had to slightly move dates. They provided great advice on nearby amenities, and check in was quick and easy. The home itself is gorgeous and impeccably clean. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out. The pool table was fantastic, as was the dining table that could actually fit all 13 of us! Overall, this space had everything we needed (and more!) to have a memorable and fun gathering.

Kelly's place is very cozy and the view of the lake is peaceful and you see the lake from pretty much everwhere in the cottage. Location is great: 5 minutes from Dunham for immediate needs. Dunham is pretty central if you want to visit all the different towns in the eastern townships. It is like 30 minutes (or even less) to the major ones (sutton, lake brome, knowlton, frelighsburg, bromont, granby). Tall people might want to be careful since the cottage has angle roofs so you might bump your head a bit. hehehe Kitchen was very functional, with everything you need.

The perfect spot for a large group of family or friends. Very clean, lots of extras (games, basic food supplies, etc). Great lake access and an awesome deck.

Amazing place just as pictured! The lake is very quiet and the paddle boards were a ton of fun. Great Lake getaway! Even had some walking trails not to far that lead to a local park which was a pleasant surprise!

We used this chalet for a reunion of friends from university and found it perfect for our needs. The house and surroundings were beautiful, surpassing our expectations. It was far from town or restaurants, but the well equipped kitchen allowed us to cook as much as we needed. We loved using the nice deck, jacuzzi, yard, games, and kayaks to enjoy the lake experience. It was enough to keep us entertained and relaxed the whole stay. The host was nearby and very responsive although his preparations ensured we didn’t need much!

As soon as we arrived, we were won over and amazed by the splendid view of the lake and the tranquility of the place! The cottage was comfortable and very clean. Access was easy and communication with the hosts was simple and efficient. We also appreciated the flexibility of the arrival and departure time as well as the thoughtful touch of a welcome gift! Everything was thought of for our comfort, we lacked nothing. 😊 We could walk to the heart of the village of Knowlton in about thirty minutes and access a park in just 15 minutes. (A corridor that runs along the road, making walking, running and cycling accessible and safe). We were also able to enjoy the spectacular sunrises and the pleasure of sailing aboard the kayaks made available to us. A big thank you to Sam and Élise! We highly recommend their chalet and will surely return to relive the peaceful magic of the place!

Second time here. No issues and perfect for what we needed. Interested in renting over the summer. Cute area!
