Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Montagu

Beautiful home, lovely pool, location was perfect, we could walk easily into the centre and a short drive to many lovely vineyards. House was well equipped with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Elaine was very easy to communicate with and check in / check out was straight forward. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay again!

Wow. This seaside cottage is simply amazing. Its charming, homely and authentic, nothing grand, nothing fake, nothing ostentatious, but tastefully decorated (the attention to detail is perfection) and with everything one needs, ample plug points, extra comfy blankets and a fully stocked kitchen. The fireplace creates the perfect ambiance for winter days and cosy nights. The ocean view is magical. Sitting and reading while listening to the ocean on an extraordinary long builtin couch was pure bliss. We were lucky to have two beautiful sunny days despite it being May and used the fireplace area at the back for a family braai which was more affirmation this house is perfect for every season. To us with all its character and charm this is the quintessential South African beach cottage..

Great accommodation. The place is beautiful. I would stay again anytime. Very responsive host. Walkable to Main Street restaurants and the grocery store.

This was such a memorable experience. Spotless, beautiful,modern and at a good location. Enjoyed the king size bed and coffee and all the amenities. Alines dad was friendly,responsive and availing. I love the interior furnishings specifically the bath and the quiet tranqulity of the home as well the close proximity to whale coast mall and the waterfront. I would recommend this place to others and it was a wonderful commemoration of my parent's 70th birthday. .

This place is made to calm down and relax. It‘s far out the city and around 1km from the host‘s farm. There is no electricity in the house but candles and lamps… and a very nice hot tube. Heleen, our super friendly host, prepared hot water when we arrived, gave us a lot of useful recommendations around this place and was helpful for everything we needed. There‘s almost no light pollution allowing a nice and clear sky full of stars! We would highly recommend this place and definitely come again! Thanks a lot!

What a beautiful spot! The view is exquisite, it is very quiet and private. So peaceful. The pictures don’t do it justice. Unit is comfortable and we utilised the much needed indoor fireplace. The kitchen has pretty much all you need to make meals. The one bathroom only has a bath, so bear that in mind if you are sharing with others. A magic spot in an awesome location! Susanna was very responsive to requests. We had a wonderful time. Thanks Susanna!!

We loved our stay, a little retreat snuck away in nature, while still central and close to all amenities. The landscaping was done very inteligently, creating such good privacy to the main road, framing beautiful vistas from the lounge and main bedroom without a need for boundary walls. The social spaces are very well arranged and the games room upstairs is such an enjoyable space. We were all.enchanted by the semi private path to the beach over the bridge and through the vlei, with all the birds and insects. We were visited by an otter and there were two hadedas that slept every night on the roof ridge. There is no TV and the main room upstairs doesn't have a door, which might put some people off but we didn't mind. The house is very well-equipped and we were very comfortable. The outdoor shower is lovely and the social spaces are very well organized, especially the enclosed verandah, which is perfect for an afternoon nap or a lively family meal time around the braai. The house was prefect. Clean , spacious and well equipped. Elda was super nice, she was very patient and super helpful with recommendations. I had seen a review before complaining about noise, it was very quiet when we were there. We had zero issue with getting a lot of rest. We had a really good time. Would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay. Everything was as described and the patio is just wonderful. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Magriet was there to greet us although self check-in is also available. We enjoyed complimentary coffee, milk and rusks and we were welcomed with chocolates on the bed. The heaters were turned on and the bedroom was nice and cosy when we got there. Magriet recommended coffee shops restaurant and there are also brochures for Ceres attractions in the room. Shower had hot water and towels available for use plus extra bedding in case it got cold, wifi was available , parking secure behind an automated gate and separately from the main house. The accommodation was great , good value for money and Magriet is a super host, I will definitely recommend stay over there if in Ceres. Perfect location, close to town but still far away so that you could relax. Farm is beautiful, with an amazing spot to have sundowners while surrounded by the majestic Franschoek mountains. Manager was responsive, super helpful and flexible.

I have stayed and about 60 airbnbs at least, and this is the best one I have ever been too. So many special touches and care in setting up a perfect get away. Honestly you will love this place. Hosts were wonderful as well!

I had a great stay at this place! It was very clean and well-organized. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, which I really liked. The host was super helpful and friendly, always ready to give good suggestions and recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

Sunet has a heart of gold and a beautiful soul, she has really mastered the art of hospitality and comfort. The way she makes her guests feel at home and comfortable is truly remarkable. Her love for food shows in her meals.

The hostess was very nice

Had a lovely stay in the cottage. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, it is quite peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views around and the stars at night were spectacular. The included game drive was great! We saw giraffes, springbok, wildebeast and some antelope on the drive. We also saw zebras while driving on our way out. The bathtub was massive. Nice towels and robes as well. We used the pizza oven and braai and enjoyed the semi catered package. Note - there were a fair amount of flies in and around the cottage and they were quite annoying but bugs were expected with the remote location. I recommend taking a SUV vs a car when driving there.

We had a perfect stay at Debbie's Fish Eagle cottage. The cottage is beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a win. We loved being so deep in nature. The dam was perfect for us to paddle on. Debbie and James her assistant were friendly and helpful. It was a slice of heaven. Thankyou for the perfect getaway.

Our stay at Brett's was peaceful, we got to spend real quality time as a family. The board games kept us busy and we were almost, always together. If you are looking to get away from the stressors of everyday life look no further than Brett's. The cabin is beautiful and neat, Brett is kind and communicates well.

Mike’s place is well located , spotless and very well equipped, spacious and stylishly decorated. I would highly recommend the unit. Mike was an attentive host , and checked on us all the time x

a great house in a wonderfully quiet area. perfectly and very tastefully furnished. a few minutes from the beach. with a bit of luck you can watch zebras from your bedroom in the morning ... hildegarde and thys are wonderful and helpful hosts. we would love to come back ...

Excellent incredibly remote location

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Charl, Carla & Christa's place! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and at home. Christa & Carla were incredibly responsive and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The cabin was so charming and well-maintained, and we particularly loved the tennis court, kitchen(my friend is a Chef ), the garden, the views. We can't thank Charl, Carla & Christa] enough for creating such a memorable experience. I had an awesome birthday. We would definitely recommend their place to anyone and hope to stay again soon
