Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Montalegre

We have spent two nights alli and Super well. The bedrooms double bed and with TV in all. The main bathroom very well and with a bathtub, the one in the room with shower, smaller but does its service. The living room with fireplace and also with TV and dining table. The kitchen with several appliances: washing machine, oven and dishwasher, in addition to microwave and some other mini appliance. The house looks smaller but upon entering is very spacious. José the host is very attentive and communicative if you have any questions. A very quiet area. We have been in the family and with our dogs and we will definitely repeat if José accepts us! Thank you very much José and good luck! we will be back!

A brilliant stay, very comfortable peaceful house in a private location near to the start of many hiking trails. The pool was fantastic, the lounge and beds were really comfortable and light and airy Great view over the village and valley. Andre was a great host- helped with the route to the house, and sent us individualised walking routes The local restaurant has not yet opened this season but he sent details of one ☝️ n the next village and rang them to check it was open for us. What a wonderful weekend. If you are looking for a place to rest, with a house with all the amenities and everything you need in the vicinity, do not hesitate to choose this house. The house is great, even great! With all amenities and a few more. A Rosa and Fábio are impeccable and always worried and available to help with what we need. We had a great time at Fernandes place. The apartment was very comfortable with a big terrace in the sun. And the location is marvelous once you get used to the steep climbs by car... But most of all, Fernández was a very attentfull and friendly host...

Very nice place to spend a few days with the family. Highly recommended for those with young children. The house was spotless and the outdoor garden is great for spending some quality time. Mr. Vitor was very friendly and always very quick to respond. The check-in and check-out process was very simple and fast. He gave several suggestions of places to go for lunch/dinner or shopping. The house is located in a very nice village and relatively close to other towns/big cities with a lot to do. I recommend it 100% for anyone planning to stay in this area.

Casa do Engenho is amazing. So far, the best place my family and I have rented for a 10-day stay. Near Braga, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, quiet and comfortable. We definitely recommend staying. Monica is a great hostess, friendly and always there for you!

Lovely property which was quiet and secluded. Facilities and aircon excellent also. If I have any criticism there could have been better communication re fixtures and appliances, bins, recycling, etc. The instruction to access the keys was excellent though not all of us are familiar with electronic gates! The water pressure is not great for showering despite taking it in turns and the toaster tripped the fuse to the whole kitchen on arrival which was interesting trying to find the fuse board to put it right though Rodrigo did respond to our call quickly. On balance a lovely place and would consider visiting again.

We were invited to a wedding at the Quinta Solar da Levado in Amares, Cidalia's house is quite close (8 min) which is rather appreciable in case of fatigue. The house is very, very large and clean on a double level. A beautiful vegetable/flower garden is a great way to enjoy the good weather. Cidalia is very responsive and gives very clear instructions. As a traveler, just remember to bring cash to pay the municipal tax.

Aurora was a fabulous host, very accommodating & friendly. We loved our time staying at Casa Lima. The place was in a private and beautiful location, which hosted a group of 11 people. We enjoyed having fresh bread delivered by Aurora daily, which made for a lovely experience. The place was clean and tidy with lots of space. All bedrooms had bathrooms, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals, and we enjoyed swimming in the pool.

Nuno’s hospitality is outstanding. The house is very nice and everything you needed was there even the domestic supplies. Really perfect.

We spent 10 days in the country house and had such a lovely stay. Vania made us feel welcome and provided us with all we needed for our baby. The house is charming, authentic yet clean and equipped with all you need. The location has a lot to offer on a day trip and transport to Porto and the airport is easy. This experience is beyond what can be expected from the average Airbnb, have already recommended to friends and family and we hope to come back :-)

Great, I can say without fear of making a mistake, it's the best place we've ever been to. The house is spectacular, everything is designed to enjoy and to relax and you get it. The pool, whirlpool, ponds and their frogs, billiards, soccer field, etc and all the magical corners of this house. Inside is also great and very comfortable, you can miss some more bathroom in some of the rooms but otherwise it's all fantastic. The host is attentive when you need it but leaves you with the necessary intimacy. In short, a really fantastic experience.
