House holiday rentals in Montclair

The Airbnb advertisement for the house does not adequately convey how nice this place actually is! Most of the items in the house: furniture, appliances, cookware, grill, bedding, towels, etc. are of high quality and excellent condition. The interior of the house is open, spacious and beautiful. It has high ceilings in most rooms, and a vaulted ceiling over the kitchen, dining room, family room, living room, and foyer. Barbara and Mike gave our girls a tour of the sheep farm and let them meet their dog. They were also responsive quick to take action whenever we had issues (like tripping a circuit breaker and running out of propane). For an additional charge of $75, they warmed up the pool for me twice because I am not a fan of water temps in the low 80s. The location is beautiful and secluded, but you can get to Shenandoah hiking trails in 20-30 minutes or Walmart/Safeway in 15 minutes. We loved our time here and would definitely stay at Peacefield again.

Connie’s place was great! Looked just like the photos. The house was clean and in a great area. Nice and friendly neighbors. We enjoyed the community beaches that are super close, clean and dog friendly. It was a prefect weekend trip. We would book here again!

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The layout was perfect for spending quality time together while still giving everyone space to unwind. Private beach access made it even more special—we made great memories, met some lovely neighbors, and even had a chance to paddle board and spot a stingray! Huge shout-out to Leigh, our amazing host—so thoughtful, responsive, and kind. We’re so grateful for the experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful family reunion here with 3 generations. Each family had their own private space but there was tons to do on the property together as well. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and made sure we were comfortable and happy! We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked, too.

My family and I stayed here for a week for our family vacation. We are a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 kids) and there was plenty of room for all of us. We barely left the house because with the beautiful view, dock, beach area, canoe, kayaks, hot tub, game room/ library, corn hole, and fire pit we all had plenty to keep us entertained. Everyone loved Mary & Shelly’s place, and it provided the perfect space for us to enjoy the river and each other’s company!

Great quick overnight stay, space was clean and host provided everything needed for our stay.

Daniel’s Home was beautiful and he made this special event for me and my family able to celebrate my sons 26th Heavenly Birthday a success We were very comfortable and it really felt like home the pool was very clean and the Home was very spacious and squeaky clean I would love to Book Daniel again He was a very nice and friendly Host that responded to any questions we had he made communication easy me and my family really enjoyed our self and yes he’s reasonable and you definitely get what you paid for and more Thank you again Daniel

A group of four of us stayed over a weekend for the LIV golf tournament is Gainesville, VA. The house was pretty easy to find and located in a great central area. Directions to the house and check in instruction were clear. The home was clean and everything worked well. It felt like a mix of an old homey cabin with modern features. The overlook of Lake Jackson makes for a peaceful and calm atmosphere. Each morning we enjoyed a cup of coffee while overlooking the lake and listening the wildlife. Even saw a few bald eagles flying over the lake. Overall, our stay was great and Karen was helpful and responsive with any questions/requests we had. 5 out of 5 would stay again.

Spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable, perfect location for our needs. Nice sheets and towels, plenty of dishware, nice washer/dryer. Host was extremely helpful. Could not have asked for a better stay or host!

The spacious apartment is a perfect retreat. Parking spot, plush couch, comfortable bed, workspace, nice bathroom, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Everything I needed!

We had a wonderful weekend in this sweet cabin! From before check in, until check out Flora made the whole experience easy and comfortable. There are so many thoughtful details throughout this property. Super clean and beautiful inside, but we spent most of our time enjoying the incredible deck. Our favorite part was that we could still sit outside in comfy seats and watch a thunderstorm while covered! Close to lots, but far from it all. We can’t wait to come back!

The host is an incredibly kind and welcoming lady who went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed and more. It’s in a quiet, safe neighborhood and felt like a true home away from home. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and you can tell she really cares about her guests having a great stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, clean, and comfortable place with a top-tier host, this is the one. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. There are so many wonderful things about this place, but ill try to be brief. The house itself is gorgeous and felt like home. It was nestled on a hill and felt very secluded and peaceful, despite being in the middle of so much to do. The walkability was incredible! Every day I walked to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and shopping. I brought my dog and its a very dog friendly area!! Lots of hiking around, as well. The town of occoquan is filled with shops and historic attractions. The host was very friendly and responsive, too! I can't say enough good things about this stay - highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay while visiting family in the area. We were traveling with several families, all with young kids, and this home was the perfect setup for us. There was plenty of space for everyone, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches for families—like multiple pack-and-plays, a high chair, and a great selection of toys and games that kept the kids entertained. The home was clean, comfortable, and just as pictured. The host was extremely responsive and helpful, answering questions quickly and making everything easy from start to finish. We’d absolutely stay here again—highly recommend for anyone traveling with kids or in a larger group!

Sharia and her apartment were both perfect for our stay in the DC area. Her apartment was clean and stocked with plenty of essentials for our 5 day stay. Shafia herself was extremely accommodating and friendly, she even sent local recommendations before our stay. The neighborhood itself is quiet and quaint, the perfect location to easily commute to DC and Regan National. I would definitely stay here again.

My time at this Airbnb was great! Lan was an amazing host and made me feel right at home. The place was amazing and so cute!! Honestly, better than the pictures. She was so friendly and made sure I was taken care of. I had every I needed, plus more. The place is so local to some great places, and restaurants. Perfect location for our visit to Robert Trent Jones golf course for LIV golf tournament

Grateful for the chance to stay at her place. She took take of us, we came with our 9 month baby and she even put toys around for her. She provided everything we needed and more (an extra space heater!) Very spacious basement, great view, very quiet. Def will stay there again.

This is a wonderful airbnb for a stay in Maryland or if you want a more comfortable place to stay while traveling to Washington D.C. like we did. The Airbnb is super clean and makes you feel just like home. Stacey is a wonderful and helpful host and we couldn’t recommend this airbnb more!
