Our stay at La Casa dell Abate was truly wonderful and memorable and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys beauty and comfort off the beaten path. From the moment we arrived, Allesio was welcoming, friendly, showed us around the home and offered tips on what to do. He will also offer you the opportunity for a pasta class or gourmet dinner which is prepared by their friend Francesco, in the private garden/outdoor kitchen. We really enjoyed this experience. Their home is beautifully decorated yet maintains the charm of the 16th century in which the village was built. We slept great in the peaceful surroundings and the comfortable beds with nice linens. Immaculate views, especially if you're looking for isolation. Gorgeous pool, plenty of room, amazing balcony, wood burning fireplaces - what more could you ask for? I spent 3 weeks here and enjoyed every minute. Was an excellent retreat space, and would love to come back again

We spent a couple of weeks in this beautiful apartment a stone's throw away from stunning Todi. Franco, the very friendly owner, has transformed his childhood home tastefully into a spacious, cosy and immaculate guest house. The use of traditional Umbrian materials, the comfy beds, the chimney give the place a warm atmosphere which immediately makes you feel at home. We spent a lot of time in the large garden with picturesque views across the hilly landscape around Todi. The house is just below a provincial street which thankfully isn't very busy. It's a great base to explore large parts of Umbria, from Orvieto and Perugia to Trevi and Spoleto. Franco went out of his way to make our stay worthwhile - and he very much succeeded.

Adele is the best host we have had in our history of AirBNBing. She helped us when we got stranded, she was proactive with her communications, and extremely friendly. She is an angel, and we truly enjoyed staying at her property. The property itself was gorgeous, spacious, with stunning views, super clean, and had more than required amenities. Overall, we loved our stay and we would return to Adele 100% given another chance. THANK YOU!

We had the privilege of staying a month in this beautiful stone house nestled in a forest with outstanding views of the Umbria hills and the medieval village of Rotecastello. Tranquility itself taking long walks in the woods with the birds chirping throughout the day. The house is centrally located to quaint local villages such as Orvieto, Assisi, Spoleto as well as many others. Florence is only a 2 hour drive. The town of Marciano is a few kilometres away with all the amenities needed to make delicious meals at home and if you like fish, on Tuesdays and Thursdays the truck in the centre of town is excellent as is the homestead pasta shop. Gabriele and Valeria, a sophisticated couple who show their dedication to their guest from the interior cleanliness and decor to the gorgeous flowers surrounding the house. Very welcoming couple always with a smile, yet still honouring your privacy. Arturo, their dog is an absolute joy. This is a 100% recommendation all around!

Was a beautiful respite for our family while travelling between Rome and Florence. It comfortably fit eight of us including the grandparents and younger children. We enjoyed a day trip to Assisi and spent time by the pool. Quiet but about an eight minute drive to a nearby town. Just a tip, use Apple maps instead of Google Maps. Google wanted to send us down an overgrown path.

What a gem! The house, garden, and pool are beautiful and inviting. The house has a lot of charm and combines the traditional style of the country house with modern elements! The pool is situated in a lovely garden with several seating areas and has the most amazing view over the breathtaking Umbrien countryside! Everything is very quiet and peaceful. Maryse, Eduard, and their dog Koos are simply lovely. Koos and our dog got along very well wich was a big plus for us and we enjoyed watching them play together. Maryse gave us lots of recommendations about things to do and places to have lunch or dinner and also offered to make reservations for us. We are looking forward to coming back in the future!
